why PKR got to feel sorry for them they spent a lot of time and money setting up one of the biggest tournaments they have seen the mini masters birthday special, and exceeeded the expectionions, tourney was full 5000 player cap 45 min before the tourament start (forget the 2hours of late reg ) the most theyve ever seen after months of falling numbers, only for the tourney to crash on seating. not often (probably never again now) will you see a $6 buy in on PKR with a pot of $27k, i was really looking forward to this one. i know they plan on rerunning it, hope it dont do the same next week but think that the damage done is gonna cost PKR a lot of players, bad times wander how many free tickets they gave away? if they could handle more players than 5000 i think this thing could of been huge.
plus i didnt get to try and win an ipad, gutted. o well at least i got to play around with my rebuy money
------------ although i do get to laugh at all the "legal action" posts, and people crying a about their free ticket lol

This what happen when you have such animated tables,like moves.I made an account two week ago at PKR but can not concentrate on the game because of avatars moving al the time,do not know where to look for cards.Annoying

play on PKR lite its the same as any other poker program, runs smoother than 3d and has less distractions.

Typical idiots moaning about their free ticket loss. How much was top prize for this tourney? >$5000.00? I think you should play the re-run and then you can sponsor a $500.00 winner takes all freeroll for us in the "Home Game" club? What you think? Good idea?

top prize was about 5k top 5 places got 4 figures (yes this was my goal still chasing a 4 figure win ) problem is if there rerunnng it next week it might coincide with the $5.50 brm game on stars. looks like il be playing PKR lite and stars at the same time, see if it messes my laptop up. looking forward to the tourney on stars.
also it was 1 rebuy or addon so the pize pool wouldnt of stopped there.

Sorry to hear about the bad break on PKR. I can't play there, but if the site is struggling to keep up and operational then I feel for them. It's still all about a business which is smaller trying to compete with the larger ones. We should all wish them the best and hope they hang tough in this world of competitiveness so then can survive.

it's not a big problem to arrange another one on sunday if this is an issue with you (rerun kind of too or second chance as they r called at stars )

awesome event.
Let me know when that hits again and i'll have a pop. Well worth it without a doubt.
Feel sorry for PKR that that happened too, the software is quite hungry on RAM but i guess its not even an issue with that, must be some server type thing that couldnt handle the numbers.

I'd be ok with this being rescheduled. Only seems to be us two interested anyway.

Yeah, within about 15min of it crashing there was 30+ pages on the forum full of people complaining and threatening to leave the site.. I think for many, this sadly will be the straw that broke the camels back.. PKR have been going downhill for a while now and I was so impressed that they managed to pull the numbers they did for this event and then to f**k it up so bad, it's really going to hurt them.

No idea man. But I wasn't in the least bit surprised when it crashed. If they DO attempt to run a 5,000 runner MTT next week, expect it to be laggy at best. Because even now, "large" tournaments on PKR run like crap.

Was also trying to play this one. Would have been my first big tourney at PKR, because I am new to them. Hopefully they will reschedule it at a time where I have the time to play. Nevertheless I guess they should think of new servers maybe.

if your new to PKR add me as a friend my name is PensionPlan, youll find PKR is a good place for poker, i Know this probably wasnt the best introdution fo you but im sure if they rerun it it will be worth the wait
