So, I burned all of the money I had on Yachting by doing a, let's face it, stupid call with the straight I hit on the turn when that card also made the 4th diamond on the board.
Anyway, I noticed that you could play those SnG Bankroll Booster Steps where Step 1 only has a buy-in of 1 PPP. So I decided to try and become better at SnG's by using the 60 PPP's I had on my account to build a bankroll and then play some DoN SnG's and see what I can do with that.
The Bankroll Booster Format is 10 players, top 3 get payed where 1 get €0,05 and 2 get €0,03 and 3 get €0,02.
So, I have 60 PPP's meaning I'll be playing 60 of those Bankroll Boosters before moving on to the next step.
I've used 1 PPP so far and cashed €0,05 by winning that one! I hope to keep that up and get a decent bankroll going by starting from scratch!
Wish me luck guys! I'm gonna need it since SnG's are usually my enemy when it comes to how to play poker

After 5 games I've decided to call it a day. The cards just doesn't come and when they do, I don't hit anything and no pocket pairs hold up. QQ and flop is 9KA. KK and flop is 7JA, all diamonds and I didn't have any diamond. Even more crap like that happened so I'll just stop here for today.
I managed to place 3 in my 5th game for €0,02.

I get what you mean, the traffic is really bad so I end up at the cash tables as well. But this time I will not do that! I'll use up all of my PPP's by playing those bankroll boosters and then I'll move on to some DoN SnG's and then I'll take it from there. Maybe I'll move on to higher stakes on the DoN's and see what the traffic is like there

I don't play in yachting for some months now so didn't even knew they had those points stgs. I think i have some points left there... maybe 30 or so. Since i've just managed to bust my bankroll on stars maybe ill give it a go. Have some good memories from yachting and got a nice return from the ndb i got here in brm. the thing that bothered me was the extremely low traffic there. that in combination with a few as****s that i was always meeting made me go away. lukasb: You should try it out, total fish over there, calling you with nearly anything! Of course you get the odd player who actually knows what he's doing but on this extreme micro level you probably won't see them
I just registered for game 1 today. I'll probably be playing about 5 games today as well so we'll see what happens to my bankroll

this is certainly your choice and no one can influence it, but i wouldn't be too excited to build my roll from zero on a site that lacks in liquidity big time, and in general is a very small brand in the world of poker- i just wouldn't be interested in investing my time, when i'm not sure by the time i get my roll up and running the site itself wouldn't close at all

Well sure, I see that problem as well so I don't really see it as much as a "zero to xx challenge" as much as I see it as a posibility to work on my SnG skills without any personal risk.

Well, did go there to check it.. and it didn't change much... in fact, i think its worse lol. I actually only have 6 ppp there and about 20 cents left. After half an hour of i gave up and unregistered to that 1 point stg andd to some other 4cents bankroll builder. It just didnt fill up. no one around to spend a point lol. Really, if nothing else they should had some bots to fill up the tables there. cannot be worse than go there and not be able to play

If it actually is an average profit of €0,14 I would really like to know how you're counting since 1st place only pays €0,05

I built my bankroll several times form scratch but i must say it wasn't worth it. It's only good for practice when you are starting with the game or if you have something to prove to yourself. It just isn't worth your time so i would advise you to deposit some small amount and take it slow and serious every tiem you play instead of wasting your time for silly amounts. Cheers.

As I have said in previous posts, I only look at this as a way to work on my SnG skills. It's more of a fun project then an actual attempt to make a good profit.

Good Luck w/ the ppps's Erru. I enjoy challenging myself as well, and it is always a good idea to constantly be practicing. After all, practice does make perfect. The stakes matter not at all...

I thought the idea of "step" game (as per most sites ) is that step 1 gives you a ticket to step 2 and then to step 3 etc until you reach the final game and play for cash prizes..
