Nothing you can do. Its natural selection. The only thing which could have happened differently is him folding. He could of, but I wouldn't if i was him.

I must coinside with everyone else here saying I would have played it the same myself. Some situations are out of one's control and like sadamman stated, he wouldn't have folded if playing in the other players position. Win some / lose some always lose more then I win.
i bet if i had AK vs QQ i lose...
