If they didnt have such offices who would?
They can afford even more luxurious designs and stuff, than that
They are the top name and the top earners so many years now,
and from what we all know for many more years to come.
They can remake it every single year Smile

Whould you work for free?

Dont you think they deserve the Money they earn?
Maybe its because i'm a fanboy but i think its absolutely fair that they use
the "hard" earned money.
Also i think its important for the image of the gambles that they dont work in some fucked up buildings.

I guess I don't know where this is headed! I thought this peertained to rake and yes that's what poker businesses thrive on, but I don't really understand it all and wished I did. I would like to see their offices myself. I think I have a nice office at work, but no matter what it's work, not play so I'd rather be somewhere else and I bet all their workers would be to.

very healthy way of looking at things Thumbs Up everyone who earns his money- deserves it, you simply cannot earn money which you do not deserve, with the except of winning in a lottery i guess. poker is business, and whenever company shows a profit it means business is run well- we see more than enough who wants to make money from poker, but end up in bankruptcy/mergers etc.

Poker sites are ultimately a buisness so it's normal that they need to take rake from evey hand played...

I think there is a huge difference in saying that poker sites take rake and the fact that they have a rigged software to get more rake.

I dont really see how a rigged software would generate more rake? Unless the winning player is working for the company.. but then the money wouldn't be rake its just winning by cheating right?.. rake is the money taken from every pot by the company to generate profit from business ..

( I don't actually know the official definition of the word "rake" so i might be missing something here, but still... )

Nice ofice however I'd like to get there someday Smile

If you played Omaha Hi/Low you could see the statistics... from 10 flips 9 times was split pot... why ? for each players take few money back for rake next hand... when i've played on c10-c25 Omaha Hi/Low evey hand was raked with ~$0.43 ... so in 10 hands they take almost ~$5 ... you can calculate ...
