Happy Thanksgiving to all of you mobsters and mobsterettes out there! Here in Canada today we will be feasting on turkeys, cranberries, potatoes, wine and all kinds of other good things. It's a day for family, togetherness and a little bit of a break in the stretch towards Christmas. In about a month it will Thanksgiving in the US.

I guess I didn't realize today was the Canadian holiday of Thanksgiving. God Bless and hope your with family / friends for a peaceful feast. Over the years I have come to terms that Thanksgiving is definitely my favorite holiday although I love Christmas for the children. I guess it's a sign of old age when I'd rather have good food then presents.

Have a nice one Mahdrof. Don't understand thanksgiving as we don't celebrate it. Turkey is for Xmas day here or for watching funny acts in Eurovision Song Contest - another story.
Have a nice one anyway and GL on and off the felt.

I don't think there's much to understand. It's a holiday where they celebrate what they are thankful for. Originally it celebrates the end of the harvest so they have a big feast and a parade or whatever. Try explaining bonfire night to Americans or Canadians and I'm sure they'll be far more confused.
