i think the more important question is whether you have the bankroll to play at the WSOP, even the best of players cant cash at every tourney they play, so if you are going to miss the buy in sorely then you cant even consider entering imo

i dont like the idea of satelites in general, if i was to win a tourney i wouldnt immediatly go and enter one 20 times as large with my winnings, so why plan on doing it, which is essentially what you are doing by playing a satelite

yeh i think i would be good player its all about solid poker and getting the right reads,
its easy for anyone to just go and win the thing but remember luck is only a small part of the game,
i think i would probley hold my own thier, i would just play like i do in any other poker game, stick with what i know and how i play just now i think im ok but im certianly not the best out thier,
i would love to get the money to be able to go one day,

I think everybody has what it takes to compete at WSOP 2008 cause the prize pool has to build up somehow, I mean the tourney needs alot of losers for the winners to be able to take home a big prize pool My own game would probably hold up to just before the money and I would go out as a buble guy empty handed
BTW I think satelite tourneys is a great way for new commers/greedy people/not rich people to enter great tourneys and compete with some of the best
One idea to get to that event every year is just to invite 9 friends who can afford and then play a $1,000 small home game. Winner takes all and have to buy in ... WSOP.

Yeah thats a good idea that I know alot of "local" pokerclubs do. Sadly I couldn't even afford the home game if I was invited to one so my only chance is satelites on the internet, but I really dont feel ready for it so I just play/train in hope of some day getting good enough to join Are you playing any satelites/homegames to try to get in??
Not yet because I don't have many friends who are interested to go for it, only 3 but we are still looking for people and indeed people that we are confident with

i dont have the bankroll to play the main event but if someone can stake me im in the thing is that you have to play 16hours in the day in the world series main event thats too much for me.
lol so stupid topic %) WSOP? lol people looking for free money here no deposit bonuses or whatever and most of them so bad in poker...... so you should !
