After reaching the final HU, making an agreement works like releasing a significant part of the pressure each of the players may have for going for the first prize. This way, they already know a part of what they have won, in money, and they will start playing like if it was a new game, with a different number of starting chips and a fight for a smaller money prize, but that includes a very important thing: the title! So, playing a €100k guaranteed HU must be lots of fun too, both want to win it, and this last only 40 minutes, must have been a disappointment to Lavallee.
