I am playing omaha regurlarly and I have some questions about the strategy my opponents use.

My play is as follows , call preflop with reasonable hands and then wait for further action postflop.
reasonable hands-->
suited ace A Heart 3 Heart Q Club 9 Club
high pair K Club K Heart 7 Heart 3 Spade
or 3 or 4 connected cards like (8910J)

Some opponents play very aggressive and pot raise preflop. With what type af cards should you call these raises preflop ??

I guess double suited broadway cards are maybe worth to call such a raise.
But I am not very much experienced in playing Omaha, so maybe some others can help you better with this.

High pairs with connection! I’m no expert, but if you have a hand that gives you several opportunities, you should play with it. Imagine you have JJT9, and JhTh, or Th9h, you will be playing for different opportunities, you will have more outs that will suit and will give you either the strongest of your opportunities or the other which, not being has strong (overpair is nothing against a flush) can also give you the victory. I would call if 2nd or raise if first to talk with a hand like this. Then, like you said, playing according to what the table gives you. Big Smile

The first example of your is a good one calling the preflop raise.
Also very good cards are the high double suited pairs, for example
AhQhAsQs. Such cards worth calling and even calling an all in preflop

double suited 3 or 4 connectors and high pair connectors.....usually a raise in omaha also means that your opponent more likely have this cards also....after it going to be who hits hard on the flop to continue in betting...

PLO is a game of NUTS. When considering a starting hand consider the nut hands you can make with it

example 1 had a nut flush draw, with not much else going on, I would fold example 1 to a pot size bet anywhere except the button.

example 2 is another weak hand in my opinion. you got a fair amount of nut boat draws if you spike a king, other than that you are hoping the Ah comes to give you nut flush draw.

example 3- Wrap cards. This is my bread and butter in plo. if u have 7-8-9-10 and you flop j-8-7 you will flop the nuts with nut redraws to a full house.
or if the flop comes 6-8-K you have half the deck as outs for the nut straight.

This is just the way i think about PLO, hopefully it helps

very true. always have this in mind- and if you want to have the nuts, you must see the flop and still have enough cash to jam in when do have solid holdings at hand- at micro limits donks go all in by raising and reraising- that's just pure lottery, see the flop, evaluate it, and go for it if you have good odds at making the nuts

Double suited cards are always one of the strongest hand you can get, also another great hands are rundowns Blink

Still, i spotted one problem, you should never be afraid to reraise or make a bet preflop, you strategy of calling is not good because you want to isolate the raiser not to get more people in the pot...
