The 11th leg of the Grosvenor UKPoker Tour is in town once again. The £1,000+£70 main event starts on Friday October 19 to Sunday October 21. Unlike some other GUKPT main events, Friday is the only day one of this main event instead of the usual two starting days, however players do have the option to re-enter once.

A total of 155 players entered the £1,070 Main Event and all eyes were on online phenom and trash-talking TV pro Luke Schwartz, who made the final table after leading the field for two days.
Schwartz had to settle for 4th place this time, however, as Jamie O'Connor won the latest leg of what many believe to the "pro's tour".
O'Connor defeated Dean Swift heads-up for the £45,760 first prize and a seat in the £100,000 Champion of Champions event next month. He has already indicated he plans a trip to Vegas with the winnings next week.
Next up for the GUKPT is one of the most popular legs of the year, a week-long festival in Blackpool starting on November 4.
