No, but that's silly, it should be just English. You can't have Welsh as a language and then stake a claim for our language just because we're united now. (I'm not and weren't trying to offend you if you are offended btw.) But yeah I have been to Wales, you still have all the road signs in Welsh (as well as English), plus some Welsh TV channels. I also know Scottish and Irish Gaelic are rare and not very commonly used but it shouldn't be British English, it should just be either just English, or just British. It's like saying I speak scouse English. Or my nationality is British English. But even then English isn't really its own language, its an amalgamation of basically every language. Why do they over-complicate things.

This is now a Royal Commission. Public pressure in Australia finally hit boiling point over this s**t, our Prime Minister on Monday announced a Royal Commission into all this. So - should be interesting to see what comes of that.
As all you other Commonwealth citizens know; a RC is a pretty big deal.
