The Asia Championship of Poker  0
The Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) starts next week in Macau, and Poker Asia Pacific has revealed details of a private high stakes prop bet running throughout the series.

Teams from Hong Kong and Australia have put up HK$1,000,000 each (€99,666.47). Each team will score points for where they place in eight specially selected events during the festival.

Businessman Nick Wong, who is often at the heart of these super high roller affairs in poker, organised the bet and is captain of Team Hong Kong.

Jonathan "MONSTERDONG" Karamalikis leads Team Australia.

The prop bet starts on event #6 of the festival on November 1, and anyone wishing to enter a team still has time to, but it is limited to players with Asia-Pacific passports.

Just out of curiosity wonder what it takes to enter such a big poker game such as this. Does it mean anyone with a million bucks can enter a team to play in this event? Wouldn't be nice just to have that much money to not worry about losing it so you could go and have some fun and the chance to win well above the initial entry fee?

Keep posting the results or standings so we don't have to look it up on the internet!
