You never know until you talk and you really did well in writing pochui, admin just increased the list of prizes in this event (I’m not going to call this as your event because now it is just official from BRM). I couldn’t make it for the last one, then I got some emails about a new one that it was cancelled and that now it has a new schedule (hope I can go), and now I read that you are taking care of an official tourney, great news, what can be better?

hat's off really great news i guess MobPoints is our choice (maybe someone will argue that, so fire on) since they are most versatile currency on BRM- you can save them for cashout, buy mob safe shots, draw tickets etc. I'd say we should split those mobpoints ($50= 5000 mobpoints) in equal part for top 10 places: 500 mobpoints ($5) each. btw Admin can you change the title thread by removing the "Admin can you take a look?" part if it's not too hard.

Oh right that's the spirit! So far here's what we have in terms of finance: $50 From BRM (in form of mobpoints most likely: 10x500) $30-$40 from AlexSimion $10 from you MarcWinz $2 from pochui (yeah yeah i know it's small, but still better than $0) _________ Total $92-$102 _________
Very good start i must admit! Everyone is welcome to add to the prizepool whatever you can afford (even $0.10)
Now what we are left with is date, and maybe polish places paid & tourney structure a bit. * DATE: Marc offered Boxing Day here (December 26th, i you have no idea what boxing day is- at least i didn't ) - this would be Wednesday, midweek- yeah it's holiday time, and probably most of you will not have any work duties, but then again maybe you will? I guess we could move the tourney to the first saturday/sunday after christmas or play it one saturday/sunday before christmas, so we have 5 choices (gonna add a poll just in case) we're in no rush to make the final decision, so i will wait for opinions before creating the tourney. * STRUCTURE: our last tourney went really well, so i guess we should keep the most of it in place, maybe we should up the blinds to 10 min though, but again it's an open question- waiting for ideas. i think buy-in should be $0.11, since we already see some complaints that it will not be a freeroll, and the fact that tourney will have 2 rebuys & 1 addon will realistically turn the $0.11 buyin into something like $0.31-0.41. but i'm open for ideas. btw keeping the buyin low will give chances to those who have $0 in their account to achieve what's required via BRM freerolls, and other freeroll on stars. I think if we lift this to $1.10 we will have a few people, but we just might finish with a 2 table sng max. * PLACES PAID: since the final payout will consist of 3 blocks: 500 mobpoints for top 10, buyin shared to the winners, and donations shared to the winners- it's kinda messy end picture i suggest going with the 10/10 structure- top 10 places paid by BRM (500 mobpoint) & top 10% paid from the buyin & donations (not equally- as usual tourney payout with top 10% paid)
Waiting for your thought, ideas, suggestions etc. hope we will have a great tourney!
p.s. biggest home game tourney in terms of prizepool was dozn's (yeah him again ) freeroll- just looked at the forum- prizepool was $150+ $25 bounty. so intotal $175- we already have more than half of that, so there is a chance to top that as well- all depends from you brm'ers

yeah admin really made us all happy- cheers for him & whole brm! & yeah this is not my tourney and not ever one was- this and all previous tourneys were "OURS" we all are a part of them. i just help out by cleaning the toilet well it can be better- if Ilari Sahamies pops in and donates some of his recent winnings (anything from 100k + is accepted, otherwise don't even bother)

yeah great point- now everyone who has a $0 roll will have to take those BRM freerolls seriously. i really think that earning $0.11 from zero in almost two months is very doable. min amount you need to play is only $0.11...if you do no rebuys & only take addon you can get away with $0.21- so go on and play some freerolls at pokerstars & especially brm freerolls

Wow, this will be the best one yet... would really like to enter in this one, it's actually worth the effort, which is something one can hardly say about the other brm freerolls on stars unfortunately.
Once again it depends on the time it'll take place... if u make this one a little later i might be able to participate. Obviously don't change the time coz of me but u could also make a poll about it so everyone could have a vote including me.

I checked Saturday after Christmas (29.12). Why? Because before Christmas there is so much to do -shopping, cleaning, preparing, etc, etc. So 29.12.2012 will be best.

good point, Christmas preparations do take some time if done seriously now looking at your date 21.12.2012 it makes me feel that this would be an epic date to have the tourney on...but i doubt that friday is good for most of mobsters...

hmm time- yeah another issue, i think we will stay with our regular times (18 or 19 gmt, probably latest we can start is 20 gmt), there is really no way to make everyone happy just because of seriously different time zones...anyway hope you can join the tourney.

I have to be honest, from the presented list i will only have more difficulties on the 26th and the 30th, becuase i will be working on those days, but i call it a day at the job finishing 4p.m., which now means exactly the same hour BRM shows, because of the time changing. So, i guess that, whatever the day, the tourney will always be bookmarked for an hour that perfectly suits my interest, which means after 4p.m., so count me in on matter the day. I will vote on the 30th just because, if i would win, it would really be like starting the new year with the right foot

i would be happy to chip in for the touney, but would rather not state an amount nearer the time. i do think that we need to be open for the start time, especially if its something big for the whole forum, even think it might be fair having 2 tournaments 12 hours apart if need be because it would be unfair for the same people to have to always miss out on these things. nice to see some mob points being added, a nice touch for the pupose of the tournament. any ways its deffo somthing im looking forward too.

it seems we have a couple of dates left to pick from, based on the poll results: *Saturday before Christmas (December 22nd) *Saturday after Christmas (December 29th)
i think since it's Christmas tourney tourney just before it (22nd) would look more "genuine" , since 29th would make this look more like new year's tourney...
now the start time: i think we should stick with our regular start time: 18.00- 19.00 GMT we had success with this time already, and you saw that we even managed to make the biggest home game tourney in terms of people registered. so it shows this time works well. now for 2nd tourney- i personally do not think this is viable- 1st we are not sure how many people will show up (maybe we are talking of 3-4 players), 2nd- not sure how to split the prize-pool...and the fact that those two will not be equal in amount of players makes this even bigger headache...yeah it's a pity that some brm'ers cannot make our tourneys due to timezone, or just inappropriate time....but i doubt we can make everyone happy- so we should try to make majority happy at least...still nice idea though

I agree with the hour. About the date, the poll is already on and now we just have to decide for a date to call the poll a day and chose on the date chosen for more mobsters. We know there are probably members voting that won’t be taking part of it, but most of all will, so it will be fair to chose the date this way.

FYI - you need to find a way to send money between the accounts, we can't do Mob Points transfers unless the sender account has at least 5000 MobPoints already in his account.

here's what i suggest- i will hit 5000 mobpoints in a few days. add those 5000 tourney points to my account to- i will withdraw via moneybookers, and upload $50 to my pokerstars account- then it's just usual player to player transfers.

yeah that's exactly what we will do. the end decision on tourney date will be based on the poll results. i think one more week or so, until next sunday (November 11th) that should be enough imo
