Over on the Emerald Isle, paddypowerpoker hosted their annual Irish Winter Festival. 385 players entered the €1,000 Main Event, which concluded last night.
The eventual winner was Tim Hartmann, who defeated Patryk Pietnoczko heads-up for the title and a first prize of €100,000.
Pietnoczko, who picked up €56,500 for his second-place finish, was also one of six players who won a special paddypowerpoker promotion, "Six Survivor", which means that he has also won a free entry into next year's Irish Open main event.
Another notable name at the final table was UK circuit legend Julian Thew, who finished in 4th place for €28,350.
