A total of 8 players entered PokerStars All-Star Showdown for $100,000 each. Three of four quarterfinals are now in the history books, and Ben Sulsky, Isaac Haxton and Daniel Cates are through to the semifinals. Talking after knowing the results is too easy, but it seems to me that these names were easily chosen if anyone decide to bet on these matches. About the one missing, i would definitely chose Phil Galfond, although the complexity of the HU is big enough to make me avoid this type of side bet. I prefer to play it instead of betting on someone. Let's see if i was right.
