Everest is iPoker now  0
Everest Poker has made the move to the iPoker network, and is using Playtech software for its poker room now. No more shasta sit and gos available.

Everest Poker is one site I always wanted to try, but for some reason never got around to it. I heard both good and bad about this site before, and if some of our members try out the new version it would be great to get a trip report. So, anybody willing to comment on the old and the new Everest? Smile

Everest had its main player base in europe, and with the regulations in some key markets, France and Italy, the traffic dropped a lot. In the beginning they had only Hold'em games, later a few Omaha tables were added. I liked the look and feel of the software, and that you were always located at the same position at the table, but the gameplay was very slow. The slowest that i have ever seen.

I know the site unfortunately the traffic for my type of game, pot limit omaha was way too low to be able to make profit...

Now that they moved to ipoker i think they'll have better traffic, and maybe the software is a bit better.

yeah traffic was a problem at everest...if you don't go for holdem you are pretty much doomed there....that was the case with the old everest...now i guess this issue will be solved, but as somebody mentioned it's a pity that they have lost some charm by removing their ever popular shasta tourneys

So that means, one less site out there with dealt point system.
I wonder if there are more sites outside the Cake Poker network that are still using
the same system.
Good old days, when most sites had dealt Smile
