Checked my account, and all my money was there, and all the points I had as well. I'm pretty sure however, that PS hasn't converted my academy credits and iron man medals to FTP points yet, as I'd have a lot more points if that were the case.

Yep, you are completely right, due to Italian regulation thay con't let me access my FT account because they detect I'm accessing FT from within Italy...and I have to wait til the moment find a solution for us......just can't wait to check my account and see if my money are still there.
HELP NEEDED:
someone with more computer skills than me (pratically almost everyone of you) can suggest me a way to dissimulate I'm from Italy?? I mean stuff like IP or DNS or proxy servers or every other thing usefule to make me enter my FT account

The only thing you will probably do magatt is get yourself banned. And then you will go through a long session of verifying your account. If you have a good amount of money there, unless you change the country you are living, is a risk not worth taking.

There's ways to mask your location, but it involves a LOT of messing around with settings and software, which isn't advisable to someone with limited computer skills. As well, sites have a way of getting through the BS and finding out where you are anyways. On top of that, if you have any large amount of money, PS has implemented additional security features for the first time you log into your account. I had to log in from a computer I had previously used to connect to FT before they went down. Was a bit of a pain in the ass, as I had to dig out an old computer I no longer use to do so.

it is a bit of a carry on for me aswell. ive had to order a new charger for my old laptop so i can access my account. ive e-mailed them my ID but i guess they arent starting work until the 6th. i wana be playing on the 6th not waiting for my account to be verified. ive waited long enough to get playing there again lol. good luck on tuesday everyone.

I tried to download fulltilt , but when i tried to open it, i got a message saying it failed. so i uninstalled it and tried again, but i just got the same message. the poker client failed to open.

btw: I had around $450, points academy points and promotion going on. So nothing important but why waste it only for impatience

I really don't understand this all I did was download the client to my new laptop, log in with my old credentials and change my password

I'm going to have a surf trip in Morocco last week of november: maybe I'll give a try....only fear is I don't want to digit my password in a PC not mine.

I do pairing with Pokerstars and now everything is ready,only give us some good promotions,now when I see FTP again I will play poker more because FTP is for me the best poker site,maybe because 1st site where I was playing is FTP,don't know best feeling,can't wait opening for money

Even if you go to Morocco (Have a nice time there btw) and you ask for a cash out, and lets say they are not banning you at the time, what will you do when they ask for prrof of your residential address?
