The low-stakes tournament series will kick off November 15, 2012 and run for 10 days ($5 million in guarantees). If you never had the chance to play the MircoMillions yet, we can inform you that it's an amazing concept where you can buy into events for as little as 11 cents and have the chance of winning [...] Read more » PokerStars: MicroMillons III Schedule Announced!

I am glad PS decided to come with this events at this time, not because I think I have much possibilities of winning some money on them, but more to justify the deposit I will have to do at this room to be able to play the BRM Exclusive PCA event. Taking in consideration I will only need $0.11 and that the minimum deposit is $10, at least I have something to do with the other $9.89. And, who knows, I can even win some more!

well i must admit i am a bonus hunter in my heart- probably not because of value, but more due to the fact that it's nice to get something for free so i expect some sort of promo from stars regarding micromillions- maybe something like "deposit $xx to receive a free ticket of $xx value", would take this for sure

We should try and organise a BRM prop bet; just a standard who runs the deepest in the Main Event... Everyone can throw in 100 brm points or something (if admin obliges) otherwise maybe escrow $1 on stars to a trustworthy fella.

Looks like stars are doing 3 of these a year then or at least I hope so, I love this series, I really need to ship one though Although many of the buy-ins are just a few dollars, some events and the Main Event carry buy-ins of $5 or more - some microstakes players exercising cautious bankroll management may want to qualify for less.

Oh right, weekend. Now that you say that I realise it's probably a sunday.. I can never play 'euro' sunday games, as Aus east coast is unfortunately GMT + 11 hours atm. So Sunday games are actually monday games and monday is work
I'll check it out anyway, but I probably cannot do. Dang.

i'll try and play a few this time,i suppose there is loads of players in each tourney though,so that will make it even harder to get itm in one. If you're not in it you can't win it gl to all mobsters who are going to be in it.

Low stakes tournaments tend not to attract much media attention despite the fact that they make up the vast majority of games which take place. It is much sexier to focus on seven-figure buy-ins and bracelets than it is to focus on nickel and dime games.
But if its on this low stakes it´s good PR to the pokerstars, because there will be tons of player witch will entrance. It is good for community too, everyone can buy in and try to win it.
