Don't want no one to think I'm whinning, but in October I didn't get to play any real money games on Carbon Poker due to they no longer accept credit cards deposits. Maybe I should have tried Western Union or even a different site. I did try Bravada and don't like their software or layout besides the point system used to even play in a freeroll. October was the first month I never won nothing on the Mob Calendar or if I did it must of been early in the month. I lost more Mobpoints playing Mobdraw then I've ever lost in all the months past.
So I'm hoping for a turn around here in November and what I hope for the most is, to find a site that I can enjoy playing on. Maybe this FullTilt deal will workout for U.S. players eventually or that's what I hoping fo.
Anyone else have a bad month or even a good one? Reply here and make me feel better!

I think the wait will be coming to an end soon for US players Greenie, there is just too much money to be made so something is bound to happen. Take a look at this link to an article from the Wall Street Journal:
What happened in the US last year sucked and was bad for the game, but the sites involved knew that they were playing with fire by trying to circumvent the law. At least once this is all figured out the sites will be able to operate legitimately. Besides, you recently won a trip to Vegas, so it wasn't ALL bad!

sorry to hear about your bad month. i defo hope that november is way better for you. it must be tough for americans who love playing poker. surely it must be against some kind of freedom act or human right? everyone should have the right to use their hard earned money playing any game they choose? its a bit rediculous. its like being dictated.
well hopefully if obama gets re-elected he will push the law through for guys like you.
just out of curiosity, who you voting for? obama all the way for me. oh wait im not american. lol

So I take it you don't care for Carbon mac? I was just wanting to play some real poker so that was where i could.
As for the Mobpoints and stuff, maybe I can't cashout at this time, but that will change. Beside's, I like donating to charity events and maybe that could be an option down the road.
I mean, it's like this Las Vegas thing I won. If by chance the $15,000 escalates into a million I won't be able to play any of the games with the Mobsters, but I bet I sponser two or three games where one of you Mobsters can win a $1000.00 for 1st place and payouts to 10 places. So sometimes it's worth someone like me to win stuff.

hey greenie i can say this: after such a horrible month in terms of poker & brm winnings you can be sure of one thing: next month will be better in terms of betting i'd say november has 1.1 odds to be better that october. so better days ahead for sure just don't give up trying, and you will succeed for sure. have a nice november

Not that bad of a month for you. October i mean. You won the trip to Vegas, which might be much better after all with all the success you could have by playing poker all the previous month. Its like a little more than equalizer

in 12 month, I had just no more 5 lucky days and that's limited winning no more $100 at any game : poker , baccarat, slot. The worst for me is SLOT ! I start this month very bad ! lost $700 at slot in 2 days . I will start make new plan, maybe just play 90% poker 10% baccarat. Go to hell slot, that's real RIGGED !

yep. im agreeing with you about the october effect on the brm calendar as i didnt win a thing however as for playing poker thats a different thing cos its been a pretty good month but i would give it all up for a win on the calendar

OMG,, serpang 700$ on slots... , you make me sad...
why not use this amount of money on poker and play mediumlimits ????? (10-60$ buy-inns)
with that bankroll you can enter 30K guaranteed tournaments,,,and take a shot at becoming semi-pro...
trust me buddy,next time you'r gonna invest such amount stick it into what your good at...
why trust a slotmachine??? you might only win or get break even on slots if you put enough money in it,and even then you should be willing to play the highest stakes to hit the jackpot...
So if you ask me you need a bankroll of 70.000$ instead of 700 .. this is for bored miljonairs,,not for brmmembers like us...
Hope you've learned from this experience and will not fall into the same trap in the future...
Now ,for me october was also disaster,,haven't made it to a single final table in MTT's and all profit i've made on sng's is also gonna with the wind...made me even play 0,10ct tournaments...because i ran out of money..
have adjusted my future plans again...gonna play higher limits from next month on.. starting from 10$ buy-inns ,, if i run well gonna try to play up to 215 $,
you can't run bad all the time...and as i mentioned in another thread,, the micro's take too much energy and the outcome is too low..
at least if i have deep runs,i'll make some good money,,,and if i don't i'll be where i am right now... Should have never listened 2 years ago,when i created an acount on FTP ,to the advise of this JEZUS ferguson dude...with his Bankrollmanagement bla,bla,bla, micro's is slow but certain death...exactly how the former owners of FTP would like us to lose our money.. I feel like i've waisted 2 years ,playing those micro-limits.. It was not a total waist ,cause i've learned a lot in that period at the micro's ,but still feel i made a bad decision playing those...
in this period ive made 35 1st places 32 1st ties 26 2nd places 23 3rd places 154 final tables
and also finished 2nd place and 3rd place in the 100k freerolls on pokerstars,wich are non-tracked tournaments...with a highest price of 320$
total invested around 10.000$ and roi = -3% fulltracking
but bankroll is zero due to cashgames ,,
At least i keep my positive aditude ,and let's see what next year will bring ..playing higher limits...
hope i can stay motivated to play as much as possible...and get a better result in the coming years...
