Straight flushes in Omaha are fairly common given the number of possible hands you can get.
I once hit an Ace-5 straight flush in PLO8 in a pot of over $500. Three other players all had high hands and I was the only one with a lo hand.. Sweeeet..
I've also had quad aces. The only thing was I got dealt them, so the only thing I could do is fold...

I've done the same thing. Those qualifiers are great for building up a BR by taking the T$$$ instead of playing. So one night I registered for a satellite and won a ticket for way more than my bankroll would normally allow. I was gutted. I didn't want to play it. But it registered me instantly and I ended up having to play it.
I ended up cashing for something like $300 which wasn't bad given the investment was small, but from now on I check when the game starts before I register.

That's a nice hand and not knocking it one bit, but if you play omaha much you will hit them frequently as stated. As for quad A's I think they're less common then the straight flush in omaha, but that's my opinion. Anyway post how well you finished. It's hard to hang tuff through to the end, but hope you at least finish in the money.

So sick, was busted out on 194 place, 14 places for the money
Lost in a short period( within 30 min) 2 times with AA and 1 time with KK,
Had a above average stack of 110000 for the 10th place when i lost AA against a 90000 stack, he had KK and spiked a K on the river so i was pretty crippled then...
So i stealed some blinds, did got AA again but ran into JK of a shortstack and he hit two pair on the flop... SO i was back to like ~17000.... Then i got KK on bb i get 2 shoves in front of me, i call and they got AA,QQ. Ofcourse one of them hits a Q on the flop and like this i was busted out of the tournament on a pretty sick disgusting way..... Didnt do anything wrong, just was only so unlucky

You don't those everyday... You have the notion this was a really crazy bet, right? You decided to put this here because you won but you know you had tremendous luck on this happening right? I’m no expert at Omaha but I use to play some freerolls and, for a start, I know the main rule: The better hand is the combination between two cards in the hand with three at the table. Knowing this, you only did the straight at the river, and you risked a lot of money with a pair of aces, a straight draw, a flush draw and a straight flush draw, don’t seem a reasonable move for me. Only for the flush draw. Were you that confident on your aces at the turn? It was the only thing you had when you went all-in…

I played a few hands with him before and he is a really loose player(like rasing every hand) and on the flop there was a small chance he had like a set or a good flush draw so i decided to ship it.
