The UKIPT Online Championship had started on PokerStars' digital felt, but paused when a final table of eight was reached. At this point, the remaining players took a break before heading to Bristol's Gala Casino to resume their battle.

Heading into the finale third in chips, it looked as though Chris would be a strong contender for the title, but after just a few hands he found himself on the wrong side of a coinflip.

After his 9c9d lost to David Letz's AcKc, the tournament specialist had to rely on some good fortune to battle back from a stack of less than 10 big blinds.

Battle back he did though, and after watching his opponents fall, Chris found himself heads-up with Germany's Wojtek Barzantny.

While many might have predicted a swift victory for Chris "moorman1" Moorman., Wojtek put in a stubborn performance, dragging the match out longer than the preceding final table action.

The momentum then swung the German's way and after re-shoving with Qh3c, he caught a piece of the board to beat Moorman's Ac3h and finally claim the £77,126 prize.

UKIPT is a great tourney and loads of chances on Pokerstars to gain entry to it for absolutely nothing but a little dedication and committment and as usual with pokerstars loads of luck negotiating the first hour or so before the sitter outers and the throw it all iners have wasted away!

Wojtek Barzantny topped the chip counts at PokerStars' UKIPT Bristol yesterday, putting himself in a great position to claim a second UKIPT title in just five days.

Having already defeated Chris Moorman in the live finale of the UKIPT Online Championship, Wojtek enjoyed a rush of cards on Day 3 and bagged 2,880,000 chips at the end of the day.

The mammoth haul put him well ahead of the day's second best finisher, Robert Bull, who scored 1,342,000.

Yesterday's session saw an initial 45 players whittled down to just eight and when the action concludes today the winner will walk away with £90,400 and etch their name into the UKIPT's history books.
