HI administrator, I and some fellow mobber's would like to make you aware of our ideas about bank roll mob home games for members only, this insures tighter security with freerolls by not allowing non members to join, we all so far think it is a great idea what about yourself administrator?

i asked this question before and it cannot be done. not only because of the administrative workload but for the fact that pokerstars homegames isnt for comercial companies so doesnt allow that many members into one group. and brm has almost half a million members. not all active i know but over time they might want to join and you cant exclude. is a nice idea tho.

really? well i see many "commercial" clubs around, just look around the showcase clubs...i believe cap is somewhere around 10.000 members. when you look at brm freerolls- they never attract that many entrants, and if we take away those who register, but are not real members of brm- i doubt if we would have even 1000 players in those freerolls...so i guess official brm club could even function well with 2000 members cap...as for administrative workload- i believe most of work could be done by more active brm'ers themselves

thats what i thought before but thats what admin told me so... its up to them at the end of the day aint it? i would prefer to play the fr's in a way that only brm members can play but again its upto admin to sort it out.

Maybe i have some idea about this,but I don't know is this possible to do. I think that for entrance in BRM tourneys instead of password,players use some kind of tickets,like tickets for poker school tournament,100k freerolls and some other tourneys.Only thing is how all BRM members will get that specially tickets and i really don't know how that will be done.
I think this idea with tickets is far better than using passwords,and now someone who knows better how this things work maybe can do this works

hi my question is this. How is it that non BRM members are getting the password to play in the $25 BRM freerolls? The password is only available 15 before the turny starts and you must log onto the site to get it. So I ask you this, are there really that many non members playing in the freerolls? I am sorry but i doubt it. BRM has allot of members so why do you not beleave a few thousand can play in the freerolls. I am just wondering.

If you google it , you can see that the password is being leaked to hundreds of other sites , probably the ones responsible with those sites simply create accounts here just to get the password and leak them on their sites.

I know, and the better option will be tickets to freeroll. There even the some who create fake account couldn't give tickets to someone. This is my proposal and I think this is the best!

I've noticed one other site similar to brm that has restricted freeroll. Not sure how it works but there is no password and it says when you want to register it's only for members of that site.
I guess there is some kind of pre-confirmation available but not sure exactly how it works. There is always couple hundread people playing it so i guess it works out pretty well. Don't know why BRM won't consider it but i don't mind it that much. Big field full of crazy people is also good practice for basic poker stuff.

Those kind of freerolls are only for members that created their account trough affiliate site. If Bankrollmob make those freerolls restricted probably you would not be able to play since chances are that you have not made your account on stars using bankrollmob link.

Also it would be great to have real competition and friendly tournaments with serious game and some leaderboard competition. I guess I will be ignored again but it doesnt matter.

i like this idea. dont bother with the freerolls
The question is, how high would the buy-in be. A 2cent wouldn't fix the problem, 10cent hardly ... i mean, if you want that, you got homegames. The real problem with the freerolls is that people don't take them seriously enough, I guess. But that's just part of the game.

That would be a bit redundant, since most poker sites offer leader boards already anyways.

i never thought of the freerolls like that before. i guess alot of people haven't either, hence all the threads and moaning about it. so i guess its worth putting up with to keep this great site going the way it is.

We actually talked with PokerStars about making unique/individual passwords, but they can't do it. If we could do that, it would have fixed everything, because then "1 password = 1 entry", so no point in leaking it. Unfortunately they can't.
And tickets (if they support that, I don't know) is not a good solution for us. Then we might as well limit players to only those who are signed up at BRM, and we don't want that, we want to keep at least one leaderboard for all our members, since we have other stuff going on from time to time that is limited to those who sign up through our links.
So I'm afraid there's not much to do about the PokerStars freerolls right now.

I am with jovi. These freerolls are a good advertising for BRM to get players to this site. For sure you will never be able to avoid leaking PW. @Admin: What I was told from an other forum is that PS don´t work with tickets for suck private freerolls.

1$ or 2$ maybe. And regarding homegames, there is no chance that individuals can organize something like bankrollmob buy in league.
@Retribution: You can see difference between poker stars tourney leaderboard and bankrollmob leaderboard right?
