why? i personally don't like when someone says "it cannot be done"- usually this only means that he doesn't know how to do it/ has no will doing it/ not enough time etc. if it's not hard to you Jovi, can you explain why individuals cannot organize bankrollmob buy in league? i think it's doable- just takes time, and enough members to get rolling...

Believe me, I would like that very much. But, like I sad I think it is imposible. First of all, all atempts to organize decent tournament with semi decent buy in failed. You organized a biggest one, but only when people donated to prize pool and when some other people saw chance to earn something for nothing. There is need to have promotion (mails, banners and stuff) like you have on freerollleaderboard. Also, you need to have prizes, like those on freerollleaderboard. You need to have shedule with times of every freeroll that is going to happen. One or couple of people writing in forums just cant do a trick. I know you are trying and I give you for that but its just imposible without site organizing it and giving some sort of value to make it interesting. Acctually there is no need for site to give any added money for me. It would be fine to see half of BI going to leaderboard prize pool, but again you need site to manage that. Cheers

thanks for reply. just as i initially thought when you say impossible you really do not mean it- you just want to say that it takes a hell lot of effort- look you provided all the things that is necessary to make it happen (various promotion tools & prizes added)- it's just that you do not think it is worth the effort. i agree with you that it would be nice to have a buy in league, although it would be really time consuming organizing that.

ok now lets look at all components in detail, here's what i think: * leaderboard would be monthly i imagine. first of all we need some sort of support shown from brm- i'm not talking about huge amounts of cash, but something at least: lets say $50 a month (considering how many freerolls they hold- this amount is not big imo)- it can be given in mob points, just as with our christmas home game. i'd be happy if they give even $5- it's not the amount that matters- but the support for the idea. * we can open a site at wordpress/blogger etc. for this leaderboard with all the details- tournament times, structure anything else. * we can start small: $0.11 buyin leaderboard for the first month to get people hooked up & move to $1.10 for the next month & onwards.
I'd say if brm shows any sort of $ support for the idea then it can be made. if not- i doubt enough people would show interest.

Exactly what I sad. Without support of BRM (promotional and financial) it wont work. And if they do promotions and give cash then why they wouldnt organize it too? Also I belive there is limit of how many people can join home game club.

only financial support would do too. and even a relatively small one. i guess organizing it would require more work, and no one gets paid for that, so no one want to take this on. initial cap on home games is 100 players, i have it lifted for "The Rigged Place" up to 500. but as you can see there are showcase clubs that have 10.000 members- so this is possible too.
for that but its just imposible without site organizing it and giving some sort of value to make it interesting.
