so yesterday i played a $1 rush tourny and finished second for $42! now today i played another one and was determined to beat my second place and guess what? yup. that's right, i did there was 351 runners in this one (220 in yesterday's) so the prize money was a bit better. i got $87.75 for first place. i'm over the moon lol. hope this form continues for a little while. i have $180 in my account there now. would of been $190 but i gave a guy $10 for railing me lol he gave me a confidence boost, and everyone needs one of those once in a while right?
well just thought i'd share some good results as a boost for everyone. i personally like to read someone getting good results, inspires me to do well.

congratulations really nice results in short period of time But watchout It could be a little frustrating now if you will not win something "big" in near future.. If you will not be that succesfull in few tournaments, dont be "depressed" just keep playing your game.

Congratulations! But like Weenie said - be careful... the good times could end and you may downswing very easy... But I bet you're pretty experience and you know that...

It seems your luck is running You got a nice start with Full Tilt reopening. Now you will have to try and match the result you got in Mansion poker I wish you more result like that. gl

thanks for all the responses people. yeah im sure the downswing will come soon but ive been playing a while now and seem to able able to accept that fact now. im hoping i can get some big scores like i did on mansion would be nice. yeah its always good to share the wealth now and again.
lukasb, i think i do alright in rush poker because i know there is always going to be a better spot to get your money in. you see alot more hands so your bound to get a good one sooner rather than later. i think alot of people in normal tournies get a bit bored so play hands they really shouldnt be playing. i know i did. also i think there is alot less bluffing in rush so you know where you are in the hand more often. just play ABC poker and you should do ok. good luck all and once again thanks again for all the kind messages
------------ oh and its absolutely amazing to have ftp back. by far the best poker site out there.

nice one bullet, but as others have said, keep an eye on your expectataions and make sure that you dont lose patience if you dont hit big again in a few games and start to feel like your wins were just flukes and you will neve win again....it will only be temporary.

i think the downswing has started already lol.
played 3 tournies today (5 entry's) and got nowhere. was doing good in my last one, was chip leader by quite a fair way but it all started to go wrong when i ran 10's into queens. then i had kk 2.5 raise from utg+1 someone who had me covered (just, i had over 7k ) went all in with AQ. flpo comes j 8 k turn 10 river A i was devastated lol. just how its gone today, ive got my money in good on almost every all in situation but been sucked out on. dont get me wrong ive sucked out a few times too. just how it goes isnt it?
i'm not disheartened tho. im still playing well enough, just not got the right outcome.

Very nice bullet and nice of you to take care of your support. I used to love [playing the RUSH tournaments, but now all I can do is miss playing them. Great living in the U.S> where we can't play poker with the money we work for and pay taxes on.
Oops! Off on the tangent again, but hope you continue to do well and post your results. Enjoy reading the Mobsters winning!
