I remember the cashout tourneys. Thought they were rather silly to be honest, since your cashout was ICM based. Without going into long winded, mathematical details, I'll just say that there was really no point playing them. MTTS payouts are very top heavy, with roughly 90% of the prize pool at the final table, specifically the top 4 spots. Doesn't make sense to play for 3 hours just to win a few bucks.
On the flip side, I guess they'd be a nice alternative when someone suddenly has real life obligations that call mid-tourney. But if you don't have the time to commit to an entire MTT, you really shouldn't be registering anyways, otherwise your just wasting money.

Perhaps PS still haven’t turned those available. In general, everything looks like it was in the old times at FTP, but I am sure there are lots of differences that we will just going to find as time passes. Maybe this that you just pointed out is one of them. I really don’t remember about those tourneys, as I only played SnGs and micro MTTs.

i remember played once in such format- since it was a long time ago i don't recall all details, but i believe you had to double up twice to make a cashout of your original buyin and still leave yourself original starting stack...the concept itself was interesting, maybe full tilt will bring them back, but some polishing still needs to be done imo

The best way is to send a mail to the ftp support and ask for tourney id or a hand report. I think all informations from the past are saved and so they can help you verry fast...
