I won an FTOP ticket in a Satellite (one which had seats added from the frenzy promotion). Of course I thougt it would be regular satellite registration and once I unregister I receive the T-$. Nope, its a ticket... Does anybody have any experience with talking to FT staff and have them change it to tournament dollars? Is that even possible?
If I have to I'll play but I'd rather build my bankroll with some nice little $3.30 tournaments and stuff like that..

I'm about 99% sure they won't be able to transfer it like that, especially for such a small ticket. Typically the only exception they would make is for a high buyin for a limited time ticket. I seem to recall that if you won the step 7 tournament, you could exchange the package for tourney dollars, but it took like weeks for them to do.
If it's a 3.30 ticket, you MIGHT be able to use it for 3.30 tourneys. I know that $26 tickets can be used for any $26 tourney, so I don't see why you can't use it for a steps tourney or something. Just go into any tourney with the same buyin as the ticket, and it SHOULD show up "Use ticket" if you can use it. If not, just play the FTOPS, they have sick prize pools and it's only 3.30.

No, its a $109 FTOP ticket. What I was saying is that I'd rather have $109 Tournament Dollars and use them for smaller tourneys like the 3.30 ones or other ones. Whichever way I feel like. I'll try the support and hope for the best. Or I might just try to win an FTOP event. I dont really feel up to the challenge tho..

i'd just take a shot at the $109 event. you never know when you will get another chance at such a big buy in tourny and if you even min cash you will have a nice bankroll. bigger tournies aren't as hard as you might think. just play your normal game and you could well just make a nice profit.

Oh, my bad, didn't catch that part. Yeah, I guess you can try support, and see what they say. You might be waiting a while however. I've contacted support regarding 2 seperate issues on the same day and have now been waiting for 4 days for them to get back to me. I figured since they were under stars now, they'd have the same great turnaround times, but I was wrong. But it's understandable, considering they must be absolutely SWAMPED right now since they just came up and are likely getting a s**t pile of "where's my maniez/iron man/academy credits" from morons who can't read the FAQS lol.

u could sell a % r break it down ifor the best fair deal for BRM members to buy a piece of the action and ship u $$ that way u get best of both worlds jus a tho if i male a few more $ i would but a piece up to $3 maybe as i only playing freerolls and small buy-ins at mo .butworth asking on her ..gl gg and well done on win man wtg go go go ..

Each site has its own rules about tourney tickets....... some you can convert to tourney dollars and others you ca only use for the tourney won or a similar tourney to the same value. THeyre not stuipid, cos they know you will use it in lower tourneys and win real money,...whereas less likely that you will come good in a big tourney!

Thats a very nice ticket you won, congratulations. Also bullettooth is right. If you are not into such high buy ins maybe this is your chance to score big. All you need is have a little confidence to yourself and some luck. All the best to the tables with it
