its so lame to blame people because they are listening classical music... I think only children do this. As you mentioned its good music for staying calm and in good mood But I am not listening any music when I am playing, I cant focus on both things in same time

This has been asked in the past, but new members re-post and that's no problem. Music is a great subject to discuss. A lot of times I don't listen to anything, but when I do I'm playing music by Disturbed, Kid Rock, Shindown, Motley Crue of course since Ilived with the lead guitarist for a couple years. I also enjoy Madonna, Fergi and some of the other female artists.
My favorite thing when someone posts this is, everyone is from around the world here in BRM and I enjoy when members post vids of their favorite type of music because I never even heard of most of the musicians they like. That's really great to hear the different music from around the world.
One last thing! I do play the harmonica a lot even while playing.

wow, i could write a very long post about what all i listen while playing, it usualy depends on mood, but i feel that everything i listen too while playing is unique in some way, I aswell respect alot of musicians, im not a blind mainstream follower, i seek for the music i like and thats how i achieve positive mood over all, music is a big part of my life and has always been. And ps dont be ashamed or something that you listen to classical music its your own choice, and people shall respect everyones taste and choice no matter what. and one more thing about music, i prefer to listen with heart and ears have a nice day everyone!

Neil Young is always great to listen too i also like Tom Waits, johnny cash and a bit of woody guthrie. but by far the most i listen to is Bob Dylan, such a clever and talented song writer/poet. I'm slowly collecting all his album's. it's gonna take a while tho i only have 15 so far all amazing tho.

I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, but main focus is on progressive rock and metal. Also some stoner rock and jazz. The music I listen to does not depend on what Im doing rather on how Im feeling. Although when Im playing poker I barely hear the music even though it´s often quite loud, because Im so deeply concentrated in the game.
