I've noticed that there are a select few on here who are keeping the forum going and make up the backbone of this site.
Is there anyway we could rank members and then have special events for the most active posters and those that really make this site worthwhile.
If there was a ranking system based on posts then you could even set up a private little forum for the biggest posters which everyone can then aspire to join thus increasing the numbers using the forum.
I just think that there are good members on here who have helped others and it would be nice to set up a reward whereby regular posters can have their own little area with their own events which others can onlyjoin if they become more active themselves.

It cannot really be done automatically because then abuse will start to happen instantly. We can't really check it manually because it would require a lot of effort to keep track of it, and who is to judge who is "good enough" and who is not?
Hopefully next year we will have more time to develop new stuff and make some kind of scheme that awards members with certain medals for doing certain actions and have something special for them. Right now we don't have anything concrete but it's an idea that we play around with from time to time, but this year we just didn't have the resources to really look more into it, but hopefully next year we will be able to do something.

This subject had already been discussed before, and we all know who posts more and with quality, it’s a matter of opening the threads and look to see what really is good to read. But discriminating to see who posts more or who posts better would bring confusion. It’s nice to see that BRM is already thinking about 2013, I love to see entrepreneurship at BRM! There are other sites with the medal system, several medals for different objectives, and having rewards for getting each medal and get to a certain number of medals would be awesome around here. Good luck to BRM’s brainstorming exercises, we will all love to experience the results of it!
