Full Tilt's repayment process for US players was facing lengthy delays because of a lack of decisions by the DOJ.
The information was presented to the community by the Poker Players Alliance following a meeting between their Executive Director, John Pappas, and the DOJ.
One of the main reasons the process hasn't been formalised is the absence of a third party Claims Administrator.
The problem looks to have been partially solved following an announcement from the US Attorney's Office for Southern New York.
A short entry on their website explained that they are currently evaluating suitable candidates and that they expect “the Claims Administrator will be selected and begin work in January 2013."
While it may still take some time before payments finally begin, the fact a tentative date has been set for the process will come as welcome news to those still affected by the situation.

So if it goes well by mid next year probably US players might have access to their money. So that means that the time green is gonna take his money, is just around the corner

the dumb asses are so stuptd that they're costing their own country money by not alllowing on-line poker let alone getting us our money back from FT. I really don't have a lot, but I would love to just start playing again at Fulltilt. It's always been the best site to play on and it's proving that once again.
The DOJ is just ignorant to what they could gain by opening electronic poker up to U.S. citizens. Even if they taxed our winnings after say $1200.00 and above. That's how it is in any Casino here in the states so what's the hold up with these dumb asses?
