Hi guys, I was just watching my local news and wanted to share it since it is poker related , they were saying professional poker players are considering botox injections, that would help hide facial tell's when playing live poker witch can be huge...botox is a injection the tighten's the skin and makes you look younger, also takes all your tells away lol,,,I wonder what is next for poker Confused

oh and I forgot to mention the botox injection cost between $600 and $800 and last between 6- months so well worth it for a high stakes pro or non pro poker player Agree

Frankly i do not think that a serious poker pro will ever do this...

Self control is probably one of the most important things if you are a pro poker player and it can't be solved with a injection Blink

It was only a matter of time before someone came up with this as a great idea to help them keep a straight face. Maybe there could be some etiquette rule that makes it like a banned substance so that you cant do it!

in this case I think botox is absolutely useless Big Smile

isnt it easier to take some big glasses and put hood over the head and cover your mouth and throat with hands?? Big Smile

This is more for the fake people that roam the earth like movie stars and models who are so skinny that their faces start to sag so they need something to tighten the ole cheeks, lips and creases in the eyes up for the big screen.

as for poker pros I'd think their game's where it's at not so much to hide their real face to keep a straight face. Real players are good enough to manage this end of the game. Never see someone lost a big poker hand or game because they're poker face failed them.
