I'm absolutely exhausted lol. I never wen't to bed last night, just stayed up and played poker and ended up making a deal after over an hour and a half of back and forth heads up play. it was very hard work. He only bet when he had top pair or better so i only called when i knew i had him beat. which wasn't very often. there was hardly any close hands for us both to get the money in and there was absolutely no set up's (which is very unlike online poker, i know)
so any way. it was a $1 re-buy with $2.5k guaranteed. we both walked away with $513. which is not too shabby at all. well worth staying up for i'm going to try and post the screen shot but it didn't work last time so i might not be able to post it.
thanks for reading and good luck all
urgh! i have to re-size it and paint.net is taking the p1ss downloading
what a carry on that was. least i know how to do it now lol

Congrats !!! Not a big fan of deals personally - although I must say, there has been a couple times where I've been up all night as you were and really wished there was a deal option on PKR - just because I was too tired for my A-Game.
Anyway - gl - hope your run continues..
Out of interest, what is the traffic like on FTP these day??

its pretty decent. i think the most i've personally seen on there is over 33k so there's always plenty of games going on.
i didn't want to deal either but the way it was going i was just getting fed up and didn't fancy going away with just under $400 so the deal was the best bet.

Congrats that's a very very nice win , and also the 1 hour and a half heads up play is pretty impressive , most people would tilt after intense heads-up play , especially after a downswing , so congrats to you for keeping your head cool

wow 1.30 of hu action that's pretty insane, you both had lots of discipline to fight for so long and yeah the end result isn't shabby at all, well done . regarding the volume on full tilt- i was expecting it to be way bigger, something at around 100K players, but i guess this will come with time

thanks for all the messages people. yeah HU was pretty grueling. we just wouldn't let each other get the edge lol. it was crazy. we both had around the same in chips when we decided to do the deal, i had 2.1m and he had 1.9m (something like that anyway)
As far as the money is concerned, its staying in my account to (hopefully) be built up into a pretty nice bankroll. i have $860 on there now so its getting there started off with $84 and t$22 when ftp came back and i still have the T$, so yeah, its going well (touch wood) just hope i can keep it up

Well you should probably withdraw some of it , or transfer to pstars some , who knows maybe you'll get lucky , try some micro-millions , give it a shot at some big $ with small buy-in , Good luck !

Nah mate. i don't like pokerstars. yeah being able to make a load of money for only a small buy in sounds great but i don't fancy spending over 10 hours trying for it. not yet anyway. i might have a bash next year, when i'm a bit better

We'll you know what's best for you if Ftp works best for you , then I wish you the best of luck , I'll try to repeat your performance , but first I've got to win one of those damned freerolls on Ftp , they're killing me .

Congrats! With blinds at 34.000 that could have gone on forever... I take it level 36 was the max? Making a deal is almost inevitable in that case...
I've been in that situation, and I wondered why the blinds stop so low; if there's 4M chips in play, I think there need to be much more levels, just so it won't go on indefinitely. In my case though my opponent got impatient pretty quickly, so it didn't take long, thankfully...

Very nice. I can’t realize what tourney was that, with $1 rebuy and $2500 guaranteed, but seems nice, although I bet you didn’t went to bed because you had to battle against a 50,000 field, am I right? What matters is that you got there, to the top, and ending up with a deal is not bad, at least you got to try to win or lose, it wasn’t the first decision after getting to the final HU. Congrats, and now go rest a bit so you can go again for it tomorrow!
