Sorry, dont get me wrong but you seem to be calling station. In 1st hand I believe its good fold. In second... not. It will be in lot of times split and also you can expect many times that he is bluffing there. Also, on turn you called his reraise. So, you dont believe him to have a 5. If that is case then you should reraise him right away since he will have KT AT QT many times there and since its freeroll I believe he is not folding. On river there is no reason for you to fold. What you expect him to have? 5? Overpair? Not likely at all.

It would be easier if you have any stats on your oponnents, but let's try.
Concerning 1st hand: - check on pre-flop was ok, however in freerolls with only one oponnent calling, you can think about bet. - on flop you made in my opinion too small bet. It was less then 50% of pot - just one BB. In freerolls most players won't respect such bets. Another thing is that on flop you got 2 cards with the same color. At this stage of tournament calling one BB is good value for oponnent if he has draw. - value of your bet on turn is in my opinion disaster. Again only one BB when Total Pot: 135. It is ok for him to call with draw, small pairs etc. - on river I think it is good that you fold. With your bets value, you not collected any info about his hand. To sum up: too small bets. Already flop wasn't good, but in my opinion after your bet on turn it was really hard to do anything good with this hand.
Concerning 2nd hand: - SB is 120 and BB 240. You have 9622, so why you call with such bad hand at all? - on flop you got top pair, and in this case probably you are before other players, as I expect them to bet with 99+. However you again made very small bet that won't be respected, and your equity is around 56%. In this case you should bet at least 600-700. - turn is very good for you. With 2 pairs, you should bet at least 50% of pot value and if he raise, reraise him. On such table not too many cards are better. Only 3 of kind or some higher pairs in his pocket, what is not to probable (see above). In reality the only hand that can beat you in this case is 88 and 5x, not to probable as he only called you on flop. Your equity is now around 83%, so you should be prepared go all in. - On river he overbets, so you should call this hand. 5d makes it ever more probable that you are a winner on this spot (eq ~90%). If he was sure that he is winner, so having sth like 5x, TT etc. he would prefer to see you calling his bet, so he should bet less. In my opinion he was just bluffing.

yeah, agree. a lot of time split. Many time I played like your analyse ,bad happen! he really hit 4 of kind!!. Do you think that's good tactic Jovi ? Risk all of our chips, right ? without history he buffer or not, better I fold. Anyway, start play with bad hand ( 10 8 os ) broke my stack many time How you think ?

Serpang, of course it is better if you have history of oponnent and you can predict if he bluff in this case or not. On the other hand this was freeroll, so it depends if you are already in prize pool or not and generally depends on the stage of tournament.
If you are not in prize pool, but you are very close to it, in my opinion the best is to play very agressive and tight especially against pleayers that have nearly the same stack, as they want to save chips. In case of short stackers you can play agressive and loose as they need to fight for their life in game, so they need to play with lot of bad hands.
If already all players are in prizepool you need to value your chips. For example: If you loose in this spot all your chips you will end with $0,5 for this place, but if you win this spot, you will be able even when folding all hands from now on win $1. However, if you decide to fold now, probably you will win $0,6-$0,7. Do you want to take a risk $0,1-$0,2 to be able to win extra $0,5 and be much higher and get a chance to be in final table or do you prefer to wait for better hand? I personally prefer to take my 80% chance rather then spend next hour waiting and hoping that I get 3 of kind or sth better and if not accumulate just extra $0,2. Of course for many reasons you might prefer to wait.

I'm too stup!d for this game... i need sleep..... i'm too tired... anyone else play?
im quite under the avg stack having just a few BBs waiting to push.. and perhaps i stay a little longer.. still i think like 1800 ppl remaining
double up with Pocket Sevens, had only 4 BBs so easy Shove, guy was thinkin then he called with J6 ?? i was only hoping please no Jack no Jack.. well luckily my Sevens hold , i've even hit 7 on the turn, but he had some outs with open ended straight draw, river was blank so im still alive
okey few mins later : got dealt QJoffsuit having about 6 BBs, cause the blinds start to eat your short stack alive.. so decided to shove and risc(there was no action infront of me) was sitting in mid position, with still having not the worst hand in case someone with big stack will call with Ace and weak kicker, well one guy called with A9suited, flop was K76 i think rainbow, turn 7, river K so busto but atleast 0.50$ better then nothing right, and it went quite quickly into paid places. so Im still afterall happy with this tourney, was challenging because i was not getting any good cards for a long while, so had to bluff my way sometimes to get some chips.

Overall you have to consider what you know about your opponents as well as having the ability to balance between being a calling station and having the discipline to call or bet when you have good hands and to throw away your not so good hands.
