According to an article in the Irish Independent, a group of French MPs have been caught playing online poker on their e-tablets during a National Assembly meeting.
The delegates were unaware that their boredom busting activities were being photographed by members of the press sitting above them in the gallery.

There’s a tendency to forget about that part of the building that allows commons people and press professionals to take a look and an hear to what delegates are doing. Most of time they can be discussing national politics, but when they happen to be doing other things, there’s always someone who gets them, and this is just an example of that. Now their image as representative of the community that elected them will suffer a fast fall and they will have to find a way to compensate that and keep justifying they deserve the place.

It wouldnt be strange at all if the same playing poker in parliament were voting in favour
in measures against poker.
Politicians go wherever the wind blows, and the only thing most of them care is their career

You know that's what's wrong with this world. All these politicians are just like normal people, but worse since they're to represent and address issues to take care of their countries problems or potential problems.
We all want to think and hold these politicians to a higher level when they're not nor do they have the capability. Throw a halfway intelligent human being in their position and allow adequate time to train, learn about the issues, problems and proper chain of commands to get things addressed and you'd be surprised how much better off all of these countries would be.
