Updated SS, yeah tonight sucked. Made around $2.50, which is like...1/5th of a BI...At least it wasn't a losing session
So I was thinking, if I can get my desktop streamer to work on a delay, I might do a live session stream on YT, with commentary as I go if anyones interested.
That would be great...save me alot of searching and clicking then missing some of the action. I've got your page bookmarked so just post when and I can login. Did a search to see how the steps work. Doesn't one have to earn a step 7 ticket to play for a cash prize? Couldn't find anything on the Matrix. What's that all about?

Found how the Matrix works...4 tables same players all at once...now that is different. So when the roll gets down to $25 you're going to take a shot at a Matrix SnG?

Step 3 tickets are worth $26 and they can be used in other MTTs / SNGs with a buy-in of $26 aswell.. So retribution is gonna play untill all the step1 and step2 tickets are gone and use step3 tickets won for Matrix - buy-ins (the ones with $26 buy-in obviously) .. And the money won from Matrixes is gonna be our ending bankroll
Been watching a 6 max $26 one to see how they work and also found one can buy in with step 3 tickets as well as $26 cash. He could wind up playing afew of these. Wonder if he'll try for a step 7 prize...that's a good one...over2k

Yeah, it'd be nice to take a shot at that, but unfortunately that'd require a lot more than the 80 buyin's to cover variance. Progressing each step, it's safe to say there will be some losses, ie: step 1 - 100 BI = Step 2 - 80 BI = Step 3 60 BI, thus why I decided to make the exit point the 26 matrix, because yes you can use the step 3 tickets for them. I'll be playing the 9mans though, not 6max as I'm not used to that format and I wanna play in a setting I've got a lot of experience in.
For what it's worth, step 4's can be used for $75 matrixes as well, but again I just don't think we'd be rolled right to progress that far. The 26's are already pretty stiff competition as it is, people playing them actually have a clue as to what they're doing
As for my live stream, I've done a bit of streaming as an expirement, but found it was choppy and I can't figure out how to delay it (around 1m, just to rule out potential cheaters getting wind and using it to their advantage) but if I can get it sorted, I'll definitely do it, and do at least a 2 hour session. Will try and give as much notice as I can as well.
------------ Okay, so...tested out live streaming, and it works. However, the quality is s**te (especially microphone wise, since I can't use my filters) and it lags me a bit. It's still very much playable, but it's slightly annoying.
The other problem is, I can't figure out how to delay it more than 15 seconds, which isn't enough of a delay imo. I can live with lag, but not with the possibility of people being able to see my hole cards while a hand is live.

Ok two things.
1. BeMyATMplz: yeah pretty shitty thing to do when you know retribution is running a BAP, it's not just him you'll be screwing over it's other members as well myself included but it's your prerogative to join those games if you wish.
2. retribution: Has it not occurred to you that going off on one on the forum is a sure fire way to get him to follow you around even further. Seriously man think about it, if he did it to wind you up then you've just given him the satisfaction of knowing he succeeded. You really need to get a handle on that temper of yours. And about the original issue - about joining the same games as you,who the hell do you think you are to tell me I must not join your games. If a game is +EV then I join it,no matter who's sitting. I'm in a staking stable and when I do my SNG grind on pokerstars I even join the same games as stable members (or they join my games),while we are in one "team" basicly (and no,no colluding since everyone is playing 15+ tables and everyone has to look for their own profit). But in the online poker world it doesnt work this way. You have to join games you deem to be +EV in and for me as long as the game is +EV I can join it no matter who's sitting there,no matter if half of the field would be mémbers of the staking stable I'm in would be in that game,if I expect it to be +EV enough to be worth it I join it and I try to destroy (by playing +EV) everyone the same no matter if it's team members or randoms.
So I do NOT see the point how you can forbid me to join games you're in. I'd understand if I was investor in this,then I'd consider it as pointless myself because I kill my own equity/ROI that way by reducing your expected ROI but the way it is,your argument is just loldumb
