Doea anyone know if pokerstars and fulltilt are owned/run by the same company now.The reason i say this is you can now tranfer funds directly from fulltilt to pokerstars directly from the drop down menu or is this a ploy to make people feel there money is safer.I just find it really strange that full tilt are doing this as surely pokerstars are their main competitor in the poker market.brianj

well if we go into small details, then actually full tilt owners might be a separate company, but if this is the case, then all or majority shares belong to the same company that owns pokerstars. frankly speaking i expected a little bit more from full tilt when it's now in the hands of stars- maybe good times r still ahead
i find it little bit wired. Why the corporation runs out 2 simular poker sites, where you can play with 1 bankroll? Why are tournaments spiled out? I think think, when they move them togahter, it will be easier for everyone, like for players, as well as for administration

It's simple, actually. You have pokerstars with it's own platform and their own turneys (actually, only site I know of that holds 2 cent turneys not that they're worth anything, but still), while full tilt has it's own options.
Plus, you can test different things and offer different stuff that some like and other don't. Remember that you have to keep it user friendly, where as having everything bundeled up in one isn't quite that

Well, lets say you havent watched news at all. It is indeed the same owners, which practically means that they now owe the biggest share of online poker ever, and will hold to that position for too long
