374 of the biggest names in US and world poker headed over to the Bellagio for one of the biggest events of the year. 306 players survived day 1, with Jeremy Kottler leading the pack. October Niner Russell Thomas and One Drop champion Antonio Esfandiari both ended the day with big stacks.
There are simply too many big names to mention in today's field but some of the survivors include Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Erik Seidel, Sam Trickett, and defending champion James Dempsey.
The day ended on level 5 and players have the option to re-enter up until level 8 tonight, so we should have a full picture of the prize pool this time tomorrow.
