So this is huge now..
Personally - I am really surprised by how many people are calling for the blood of the radio presenters over this.. IMHO it was pretty funny and I really doubt they thought they would even be put through, why would anyone believe if you rang the hospital and impersonated the Queen you would be taken seriously!?
Anyway - regardless - I don't think there is any logical way you can blame the death of the nurse over the radio presenters.. Seriously- she must have been incredibly mentally unstable already, to kill herself over her tiny part in this.
Anyway, I really dislike radio shock-jocks and paparazzi alike; but I really cannot find blame here and I do actually think it was pretty funny, obviously I don't think it's funny the nurse has died.

Yeah , I was also surprised about this , this news spread all over the world , and I just can't understand , why the hell would that nurse kill herself , I mean what were the penalties , to make her wanna do such an unbeliavable thing , and I believe 100 % that she has no fault in all of this , if the queen were to actually call the hospital , what could the nurse do ? ask her to id herself over the phone , it's pretty sick.

im guessing that the monachy didnt find it funny and insisted that the nurse inoved be dishonourably dischaged, thus ending her nusing career. could be wrong but sounds plausabe.

You mean to tell me that the nurse who took this call is no longer among the living due to this prank call? I can't believe this and it's terrible to think that the radio personalities got through so easily and whatever circumstances the nurse had to face was unfare.
So Ilive here in the U.S. and haven't heard about all this and the nurse has actually taken her life due to this?

Yes - but not that ward nurse that you hear throughout most of the recording. It was the nurse who first answered and put the radio hosts through to the ward.
