Hello Mobsters,
Good day to all. Today i got to know what level of security poker stars uses, to confidently brag to be the most secured online poker site. I opened my first account over a year ago and made my first deposit early this year via a friend living in UK. In our country Bangladesh, online transactions are a big time hassel and as the friend of owed me few hundred dollars so we thought of settling it by poker star deposits. Unaware of the verification rules we tried out with 10$ as a test. Instantly my account was frozen due to unverified master card transactions! Unfortunately my lazy friend couldn't help me out with as verification document with his card's scanned images till date so few months back ended up opening a duplicate account with legal valid info. Today i found that every bit of my actions were recorded n even my mac address n IP were tracked and disappointingly yesterday when i tried depositing through a local friend, my present account transactions were blocked linked to the one year old issue and till date every other account linked in transactions to both my accounts or each individual who logged in from my pc to pokerstars, all their accounts transactions were blocked. Great mess i am in at present, i must say, its gonna take some expert level hacking to break this sites security!!

If what you are saying is true, you should contact pokerstars support and explain all this to them. And ask your frien to send you his documents so that you can confirm you didnt want to husle anyone. Tell em that you made mistake and that you didnt know its not legal to do that.

I already did that before posting the blog dude, and surprisingly they even gave me previous cash back. I just admitted the tryth and explained what problems it was creating. am delighted!!!
If they've locked your account, then wave goodbye to the money. They will never release it, and theres nothing you can do. THe moment you log in with the same PC it will set off an alarm at PS and they will close ANY account you use.
Basically you can forget PS because they will in time ask for ID on whatever account you use, and trust me, once they think you may have had an acccount in the past they will be down on you like a ton of bricks.
The bottom line is you got caught trying to act fraudulently, and they caught you. Live with the consequences.

Online poker site without really good security is worth nothing. It's not like real casino, with guards, safe with move detectors to prevent burglars. Online casino/pokersite must rely on their IT department and security - firewalls, logs, network, etc.
It's much more difficult to obtain high level security online...
