Currently in production, the movie focuses on a detective who becomes embroiled in a world of deceit after a killer invades his regular poker game. Set to star Delroy Lindo, Ron Perlman (of Hellboy fame) and Beau Mirchoff (star of Desperate Housewives), the film looks to be a poker themed film that's taking a different approach to many before it. At present there is no release date for the motion picture, however, the director, Greg Francis, is providing regular updates from the set via his Twitter page.

well since there is no release date it's more or less in the air, actually by reading the the idea i can't say i'm hooked up on watching the final product. atm there is massive overproduction, so there's plenty to choose from. not sure maybe when it's closer to release with a decent marketing campaign it will find it's viewers.

Wow what a shame. I hate the idea of any movies trying to cast poker in a negative light. Lets face it anything which places the idea in peoples heads that poker is just a game filled will lying and deceitful criminals. It is a shame that Ron Perlman will be apart of the film as I like him as an actor.
Hopefully they can pull it off without casting poker into a negative light.

That's what movies usually portray is the poor image of poker and the people who surround the game. Let's face it, that's in most all movies that even show small clips of people playing cards. They're usually in a jail cell, gangster cuts or some poor setting. I mean, have you ever seen even a clip of an individual sitting at home playing electronic poker to pass some time by and if you did it show someone on tilt cutting someone up as revenge.
