UK TV presenter Jonathan Ross is now hosting a charity poker tournament with the help of PokerStars Having been guided to the world of online poker by Vicky Coren, Ross is now hooked on the game and using his celebrity status to host a six person invitational event in London, today.
The action kicked off earlier and welcomed some of the UK's most recognisable entertainers, such as Jason Manford and John Bishop, as well as Boris Becker, Vicky Coren and Ross himself. Trying to upset the party will be an online qualifier, but with Jonathan telling his 2.7 million Twitter followers that he's looking to be "the king of poker", it looks like the funny man will be taking things seriously.

oh yeah boris becker is at the tables again it seems that he is the one who is hooked on the game than ross himself. i saw becker a few times on tv (mostly ept events) & it doesn't look like he is having lots of luck- maybe he is just enjoying himself, cause there's always plenty of reporters around him just because of his celebrity status...probably he got bored with lying on the beach

This will probably make you laugh but I really have no idea who Boris Becker is at all. I am not much into sports but I think I might have heard the name mentioned by some friends discusing some sporting event. Whoever the guy is he cant be all bad if he plays poker

RONIN.......... Boris Becker is a German tennis player...he was world champion sometime ago and I thinknhe was the youngest ever winner at Wimbledon, which is the biggest tennis tournament in the world!,,,,,,,,

The only person i recognized from the above mentioned was Becker. If you watch the tv news im sure that his name have been mentioned a few times for his achievements.

The thing about this affair that made it so amazing was that it wasn't an affair - it was a shag at 30000 ft and she had a baby - he denied it was his and the pictures showed of the baby were a spiting image of him - No get out free jail card there !!
Also I played in a freeroll on PS to win a seat at the charity event hosted by JR. I finished 4th, gutted but increased my BR by £400.00 - not bad eh?!

This should be funny to watch, having a lot of TV entertainers on a televised game should give access to continuous hilarious moments. Those guys should be the terror of those players who like to keep focused during an event. If they thought about mixing and inviting pros to the middle of them, there should be a couple of them who would prefer not to go.
