Hey I play poker, i have almost 10 yrs of experience, i read some books, i watched a lot, and im a very strong player on how i play every hand from sick laydowns to well constructed traps. My first deposit was on partypoker $30. A couple weeks in i played my second $6 trny ever with 202 players. I played well and felt like phil hellmuth playing. I kept climbing up through the tourney finishing 3rd for $100.98. I finished a $5 bonus shortly after that and cashed out roughly $130. Then I wanted to try pokerstars out because its bigger and i dont expect it to be any more rigged than partypoker so i deposited part of my winnings on pokerstars. Twice i tanked my bankroll! I was making very correct decisions eg. Having pocket pairs overtop. Yet i continently see, (aces busted by 7s, qs by 7s, ks by 3s) also seeing aces by Q7 etc. lol Also hitting 1-4 outers on river too often. Its to the point now where i picked up queens UTG and i actually wanted to fold because i figured someone will call with like 4s and hit it. but i know not to fold even if i have the best so i ended up all in pre flop against 7s. What did he flop? Quads! If i look at my history no joke, roughly 15% hands i have overpair of theirs they hit quads, 50% of the time total i lose. I know its not rigged but i just need someones opinion on if i should continue and my luck will turn around? or just quit for a while because i do plan on playing a lot in the future and a lot of live more than online? But i do want to keep playing and keep practicing. plz give feedback, thx
PS is brutal. No other word for it, but perservere and you wil get there. Eventually you will find it suddenly comes right. For months I suffered the same, bad beat after bad beat, then suddenly one night it gelled and I won my biggest ever prize $3100 in a $22 MTT. Three days later I won another $2800 in a $5 MTT, and four days after that I played a satellite to the £55 BIG game and finished 11th for £800 ( should have been more but I overplayed Q 10 against AQ when I hit trip Qs, and then my KK lost to 10 10 when he hit a runner runner straight on me ).
It will come good, trust me, but keep making the right plays. Learn from mistakes which we all make, and most of all, have faith in your ability as a poker player. If you are good enough you will win eventually.

Thank you for your positive input, I will plan to keep small deposits here and there so i can win my way into bigger stakes. I will keep practicing until I find my rhythm. I will start off a new year 2013 redeposit on PS and see how it goes.

We have heard about similar experiences, some people adapt better to some rooms and can’t keep profitable at other sites. The best advice in this case is a La Palisse true: keep playing where you are able to win and don’t play where you can’t win. Being the site with more registered players and more simultaneous online players don’t make it the best site for all of these players, the best is where you win, no matter which one is it. Good luck on your game, and go after your victories where you are used to reach them. Once in a while, try other rooms with some of your profits, but don’t think about radically changing from a room to another!

on pokerstars you need to be much luckier than joker players, since there are alot of them.... don't say on other doesn't exist joker players. there are on every single site of poker. But as i said, need to be very lucky. 888poker is very good, not so many players, but many tournaments. FTP again is good.
