If you believe in pseudoscience and that the Mayans could predict the future, then December 21 will be the day of reckoning for the Earth. Talk of an impending apocalypse seems to be on everyone's lips at the moment So,what plans do you have mobsters for this event?

I wish there was somekind of HUUUGE apocalypse party somewhere close to where I live.. That would be pretty cool But I don't believe in it..hope I'm not wrong...

Well I'll be at work just like any other day thinking what a bunch of jokers to think God would allow any signs on earth for someone to analyze and predict it's end. So after work I'll come home and play some poker as usual, go to bed and get up on the 22nd and party with my brother since he'll be turning 47 years old.

I hope that the ones who think comit suicide in 20 december because of the mayan predition, just wait untill 22 december just to see the fraud of the whole story! I know there are a lot of people wining money, because the marketing is strong! I heard so many stories about this crap, one of them its the appearence of nibiru planet that its going to destroy our humanity, after i made a lot of research about this story and i end to a conclusion! The predition never said that its going to be the end of the world, but the begining of a new era, and probably the calender its not completely right and that already happened on 21 december of last year! Some stories talks about the appearence of aliens, because some paranoics thinks that the mayans had contacts with them! in my opinion the mayans where very advanced to theyr era because they where descendents of atlantida! In my opinion the mayans predicted something and i think they where right, if they didnt missed the date 21 december is the day of the milkyway, somethig that happen in 6000 year i think! Here is my opinion i know its a little bit confusing, but its what i see after researching much about "apocalypse"!
According to the morning news here NASA has debunked the end of the world theory. Only caught the tail end of the telecast...will be partying here in peace starting on the 19th...plan on being in a fog for some time.

Consider this. God made the earth and wrote a story about all the things that would happen .... do you think he would have included as part of the story that some group of people who wrote a calendar would foget to finish it off? well the problem with the end of world being on the 21st is that we are having our "Official Christmas BRM Home Game" on the 22nd, so i guess i will have to contact the Mayans in order to ask them to move the end of world date to 23rd or some time later. i hope none of brm'ers have anything against this?

on 20 i will party like on 21 will be the enf of the world. Or should i go in France .... don't know the village .... where it supose to come some alliens to save some ppls, maybe i'l be more lucky than playing poker.

It's ok. NASA are so confident the world won't end they've already released a video explaining why it didn't end yesterday. It was in the news today lol
It does seem a little ridiculous that NASA have to deny this sort of crap though. People think the world is going to end all the time, there is absolutely no evidence the mayans predicted the end of the world and even if they did why would people assume they were right, so why is the media giving this particular conspiracy theory so much attention, even if it is to ridicule it.
Maybe it is a big conspiracy, but to get people spending money. So they come up with this bull and then deny it so strenuously that people think it must be true. So the gullible public spend all their money thinking they have nothing to save for and when the world doesn't end they'll all be so happy they go shopping some more, then everyone runs up more debt and the economy collapses, all the western world has to be bailed out by China, tensions lead to a new world war and it's the end of the world as we know it.
