I saw that this game is growing very fast in popularity lately and it become for some of the high stakes players the fav game.
Frankly i knew nothing about the game some time ago but know i started to study it a bit but is it just me or luck it's a lot more important in this games than on other types of poker(NLHE or PLO)?

I think it's going to be the next big thing in poker. It's a lot of fun to play and luck is major factor when drawing but as long as you start with a good drawing hand(2and7) then your more likely to win the hand.

In PLO there is a lot more luck involved to because there are a lot more draws.
I personally dont think games like 2-7 draw or razz or something will ever be nearly as big as NLHE or PLO .. they are just not as appealing to the masses.

My opinion is that these games no matter who plays them, if its a pro or not, will always remain in the last places, among more favor in the general poker community. Fun to play sometimes, but boring for constant play. Plus the other games are more profitable for the majority

well in regard to it becoming the next big thing in poker: no, it won't- it has been around for some time now, and if you look at the number of players playing it, you get the picture. yeah it's a fun game, but generally it's just another form of poker and nothing more. nlhe & plo will stay in the top places of a long time ye imo

2-7 triple draw i have played it but i just could not the understand the game itself !! i mean i understood around 80% of the game !!!! and it is also true that only a few poker rooms offer this game variant !!!
Regarding the popularity i feel Omaha is gaining a lot of momentum and is almost a equivalent game variant to NLHE ....!!!!

Pretty interesting input and i must say that i pretty much agree with all opinions here.
The game is pretty much straight forward actually, you basically need to have the lowest hand posssible, the nuts is 2,3,4,5,7... You basically want to have as a starting hand at least three cards that are lower or equal to 7.

Without 6, because of straight posibillities. Luck involved? Of course, which form of poker doesnt have luck involed? NLHE? AA never win

No you dont need a nut starting hand that depends on the game you playing. When you at a 9 player table then yes maybe..
But when you see for example 3 pro's playing at high limit they wont always wait for those 23457 or 23567 hands. They will also try to take the pot early with betting and with 3 players there will not be a nut hand every hand played.
So to only play the nut hands always only wont work ..
