RPM Poker has closed shop. That move came very unexpected. Rumour is, the company has been bought by a third party. Players can move their balance to another Merge skin.
Black chip has left the network, and two rooms closed down. All in December.

They're just reducing the lower profit sites that are in the Merge Network. Since Carbon is been on the up due to it allowing U.S. players it seem's a lot of their other sites that generally don't produce the amount of profit that Carbon and Cake produce are being sold or going under.
It's weird that they created three versions of Carbon. There's Carbon Sport, Carbon Client and then the original Carbon. All three have the same games, but different options and even freerolls on Sport has extras.

well my understanding is that the merge gaming family of online poker sites are down sizing in an attempt to become more profitable. if that is the case then it is good business to do so. What i do not understand is why Carbon poker has three different site up and I read in another forum they are thinking of putting up a forth. i mean how many do they need?
