Following a week of play, the final man standing from the 864-player EPT Prague field on Saturday was Ramzi Jelassi The players to exit the final table first were, overall, the ones who entered with fewer chips and tournament experience. When the tournament got 3-handed between Ramzi Jelassi, Sotirios Koutoupas, and David Boyaciyan, the players attempted to reach a deal that they would all be happy with. Very shortly after turning down a deal, David Boyaciyan would regret that decision. Koutoupas opened to 240,000 from the button, Boyaciyan 3-bet to 560,000 and Jelassi cold 4-bet to 1,225,000. Koutoupas folded and Boyaciyan decided to call.
On the 5c8d8c flop Boyaciyan moved all-in. Jelassi called and showed Ace-DKd - Boyaciyan was ahead with 9c9h. The board changed that when the 3dJd came and Jelassi's flush sent Boyaciyan home.
Game over - The final hand of the event began with Jelassi opening to 400,000, Koutoupas raising to 1,000,000, and Jelassi moving all-in. Koutoupas, possibly too relaxed with his big payday, called off with Th9h - Jelassi held Ace-DJc. The board ran Ah5d4cTdKd and Jelassi was the EPT Prague champion and €835,000 wealthier.
