Lee Jones has confirmed that Zoom Poker Tournaments are coming to PokerStars next week.
Speaking to the 2+2 forum Jones said that they will appear in the next software update and that they are putting the final touches to them right now.
It has felt like a long time coming for fast fold poker fans, as Zoom has been in effect for more than half a year and this particular update has been expected since October.

They are picking up the things left out, and try to have both platforms run to its max of their potentials, so the player base can have the same options either they choose one or another. Its a move of course aiming to keep that step they are away, from other sites too.

actually i loved them, i think zoom/rush/speed etc. tournaments are way better then zoom/rush/speed etc. cash games. i just hope stars will offer a decent variety of them- at various stakes, structures and game formats. btw- i loved the concept stars were offering some time ago (dunno maybe it's still on offer?)- triple or nothing: same as dons, but 1 in 3 players get 3x initial stake, they were 180 players or 90 players- it's a shame that stars were offering this format only at big stakes (~$100)

I have to agree with pochui, those are the only tournaments that i used to play a lot, i mean the play time compared to a reg tournament is almost half
Plus you somehow feel that you are in a cash game game table because everything moves so fast

So is this something like RUSH poker on FullTilt? I thought this was already being implemented a couple months back. Did they not do this? Guess it doesn't matter to me until I can play at these sites again, but I really miss playing the RUSH poker at FullTilt.
