For all who don't know. I finished 10th in a brm fr on stars the other day and now I've just finished 13th. I'm gutted. I had trip 8's as well and the guy hits a fh on the river. So close yet so far lol. I also was playing a depositors fr along side the brm fr as well and managed 201st out of over 8000. I should be still in as I went all in with AK suited got 3callers and when I hit a flush on the flop I was jubilant to say the least. but some numb nut had called with Q5 suited (same suit as mine) and managed a straight flush. I couldn't believe it. I mean wtf? That far on in the tourney and he's limp calling all ins with that crap. Some people really have been dropped on their heads as babies haven't they? Haha
Anyway another day another tourney hey? Oh, I've just won on the calendar for the 1st time this month so that makes up for it a bit 500 mob draw tickets. Good luck on and off the felts all!

sometimes you wana and quit playing when you see these stupid ppl play its like they were inserted into the game just too piss us off they dont play poker they play bingopoker which is a differnt game all together....lol

i feel your pain mate I just dropped my entire bankroll on a rounder table when my full house aces over 3 lost to a moron who shove all in after the ace 3 3 flop and i had pocket aces. So i'm thinking yee hah when he show jack 3 off suit then a 3rd 3 hits the river and i am now busted.
i mean WTF is wrong with these stupid arse Russian players who never fold anything and they keep seeming to freacking suck out. i mean come on. the math just does not add up for christ sake enough is enough.
still going on is it....stopped playin there for almost two months because of that crap. Just starting back again...not looking forward to it. Makes the math look stupid.

Seems like you are doing well in the BRM freerolls. Nice job indeed, because they are hard to go deep in them. I gave up playing them some month ago, too much time for too less revenue on Pokerstars.

i am on the same race for the mobdraw just as you, bullettooth1, but these last sundays there were always more than one 5,000 mobpoints to win, so i guess there's enough for both to try to win, let's see if it will be this time!

The BRM Freerolls are really hard to crack !!! Congratulations on your good run
The BRM freeroll mainly gets filled with donks it hurts the play of good players !! I hope BRM Comes up with a better way of organizing the freeroll to stop password scamming !!

yeah luck is beginning to turn your way slowly- of course you might disagree with this, pointing out to your bad beats- but hey, you still finish in the money & that's most important. besides you won mobdraw tickets- who knows, maybe you will succeed there too? anyways good luck & i wish you a huge upswing
If you consider that after almost 2 months (i.e. over 370 tournaments played), the top earner has just over $10, it seems there are no players that consistently do well in these.
I've only played a handful, and it seems you are never out of push or fold mode for long, because M drops below 7 so fast. I did manage a 6th place on one occasion though. I prefer the freerolls on party.
Still to finish 10th and 13th in these, is hard to do IMO.

I am pretty happy with both finishes but to be so close to the ft and not make it both times does make you feel a bit sick. I'm sure it will happen one day tho fingers crossed.

As they say bullettooth1, third time is a charm. So next time you will decide to play this tourney maybe its your turn to take it down But after all, your finishing places are a great result for the number of players participating. So once more thumbs up.

yea its so annoying when you can get so close to result what you need and then lose unlucky... You know even If you are playing 1 and half hour good poker, still one hand can get you out

well done for getting through the freeroll minefield.I think "pokercide" is a better name for the type of play seen in these tourneys.I can,t believe anyone would drop real money the same way it,s just a shame that i dont have a big fat bankroll and like yourself will have to put up with the people who dont or cant play poker how it is supposed to be played.GL at the tables

Bullettooth...well done, as previous the BRM freerolls on stars are pretty tough and to getvwherevyoundid was excellent . Your point about crap callers is a valid, but also is a point that all poker players have to consider within their game rather than dismiss it as bad play.

Not questioning the flush when you and the other player had the same suit, but if he had a Q,5 and hit a straight flush there must have been four (4) cards of the same suit on the board huh??
I mean the player's Q,5 couldn't connect a straight flush so was just thinking there must have been 4 suited cards on the board. That's really bad luck!

yeah it was like a four way all in. i was utg and went all in with AK spades with about 17bigs 2more callers and then the guy with the Q5 spades was in the sb and he called for almost half his stack. flop was something like 367 of spades then a blank turn and the 4spades on the river. his excuse was that it was a freeroll and i shouldn't get so upset. yeah fair enough if it was a few levels in but not a few hours in and there's only a couple hundred left out of 8000. he obviously got where he was by being just as lucky because there is no way he got there on merit. I'm over it now tho. i had much worse beats and setups yesterday playing rush lol but this is why we love poker isn't it? good luck on and off the felts everyone

Gratz for this nice place! It is verry hard to reach a place nearly the final table in this allin festival. And two days in a row this is a verry good place.
