I'm running well on Party Poker! I do absolutely crap on jokerstars, but not on Party.
-First I bought into $6 trny out of my $18 bankroll (F*ck bankroll management ) and cashed $100. Then, lost it all on jokerstars (all bad beats) redeposited on Party, lost about $10 of $40 toying around in tourneys.
-This morning i saw an update, lots of new tryns . I played a $11 qualifier ($1 buyin) to win $11 buyin. Then almost ran deep in a $1000 added trny, but cashed like $17 for 13th place. So I run good on this site, proud to see it. I will play many $11 qualifiers to rack up those buyins, and hopefully cash high in a few to build a nice roll, maybe some 4 digit scores.
-2/3 Tourneys cashed today ($.50 tourney, I had queens, but after calling someones allin, turns out im in a 5WAY ALLIN! lmao) So my bankroll is at $48, and i plan to build up $11 buyins and keep the bankroll at around $50, or more if i win a trny. My ace jack holds up to ace ten, I win most of my coin flips. Jokerstars i lose ace king to ace queen half the time, lose pair over pair a third the time, lose 75% coin flips. Great to hear your doing well. Funny you mention pokerstars. I've been playing speed poker on there and the set ups and bad beats are unreal. Lost about 5 buy ins in the space of half an hour through some sicksetups. Stuff like flopping top two (Ak) and getting beat by bottom set and having a set and getting beat by runner runner straight. Just s**t like that all the time. I mean it happens the other way around don't get me wrong. It's just I've never seen it happen so often.
Anyway, rant over, I hope you keep doing well on party poker and I hope you get to have a very nice bank roll. Good luck

That made me laugh so thanks for that but on a serious note that's one of the most important aspects of poker.Variance can be a Bitch and sooner or later it will bite back. GL on the tables.

Haha yeah thats too risky to put in that much of bankroll in, but oddly i had some sick feeling in my mind to test a bigger buyin. Ill keep better management now. And having faith in my poker skill might be a big factor in staking up higher soon !

G'day mate let me ask you a question.
Would you happen to be a new player account on Party. I ask this because the are VERY well know for giving all NEW accounts a 3-5 day honeymoon period where things keep going your way. Hey look this is a GREAT site for me to make some cash on, or so you think. Suddenly after the initial honeymoon period is over or you do your 1st cash out which ever comes first "click". That was a switch being flipped and suddenly your Great luck turns bad real fast. Just a friendly warning mate.
I have been there. I was up 12K in my first week, after a year i was down 10K I have spoken to many people with the same story.
Good luck at the tables and learn from my mistake. Dont deposit to much on Party to oftain.

I think why I'm doing so well is also playing more hands post flop instead of donking all in with jacks, kings pre-flop. It takes away from the luck factor a bit and I'm right 96% of the time guessing their hand correct so i can affectively gain more value, thus accumulating chips gradually. I usually end up in the money then with patience, and minimal mistakes, I climb through tournament fields consistently.

Thank you, same back to you, I will be withdrawing part of my winnings on partypoker, if i consistently make enough, to try out pokerstars again fresh into the new year. Also, here is my 'Poker Tourney In-Hand Formula' that usually runs through my head:
-Know which starting hands to play at each position at the table -Know which starting hands to play at different times in the tournament -Take into account you and your opponents, Big Blinds Remaining, and Average Stack to influence your decision -Use intel acquired from the player to read their actions and get an idea what they have to see where you stand in the hand, post-flop and pre-flop, to dictate what your future actions are. -Once you've used your poker reading skills, calculate the odds of your hand holding up against their hand to retrieve maximum value out of the hand. -Also some other advanced factors run through my head in-hand. Plus, I sometimes have weird intuitions at times and mysteriously, but correctly, have feelings about peoples hands.

I run better on PS and now its back open on FTP, I think we have something in the back of our minds that make us think that way.
I hope I run well on Party too - have just won a ticket on the calender to the 50 person BRM freeroll to the Aussie millions, decided to play the tourney, told the missus and she said GL - dont think she thinks I have a chance - Passport ready. Nice holiday I hope !!

i remember someone said "don't withdraw any of your winnings- if you do so then consider yourself a walking dead" , actually lots of regs say similar stuff most of the time- so while you're running hot & everything looks great, i guess you can hold on with your withdrawal- you will always be able to do this later, when your 1st million is sitting safely in your account
