i'm already set up to play poker on christmas and new year's eve ( only 2 mins away to drink shampain ) it's kinda a tradition for me for last 3 years ) and yes i have a life, just cause i'm not so exited for holydays, not even my birthday ...

Thanks to a 24 hour spread in timezones, you can be sure there'll be plenty of people playing poker on 'christmas day'. Obviously some will be playing during their local christmas day, but plenty will be playing during the evening / morning / eve / etc.

I HATE holidays and love poker, so you tell me which i would rather do. Play poker or visit the relatives i Hate in general. You guessed it mates. I hope to see you at the tables. I will spend the whole day with my family and spend little or no time at all on the computer.. I have 364 other days in the year to play poker, and for once I am gonna put poker out of my mind.

Well I will spend the day with the family for sure. If there is time in the late evening and everyone else already went to bed, then I will maybe log in and play a bit (if I am not too drunk, lol)

I rarely have time to go on the Internet on xmas day let alone play poker as the whole day is spent visiting family or in the pub. This year I won't be taking my laptop back home (to my parents) with me so poker is completely out of the question until the day after boxing day. And as I'm working xmas eve, boxing day and most of the days leading up to new years I can't see myself playing much poker over the whole xmas period.
I've never played poker on xmas but I imagine there must be less traffic than usual, otherwise why would poker sites offer so many promotions and freerolls on that day. Then again, everyone is off work, including those who don't celebrate xmas, and it must be a great day for catching fish, the pros enjoying their holiday and the addicts filling the networks all day.

You can play poker with the family at the christmas day to get a big gift No, but in the days after the 24th was enough time to play some hands. Little breaks between the lunch times lol

G'day mate You are absolutely right. I always amazes me how many people will get drink on Xmas day and think i will go online and have some fun playing poker. They make huge mistake and splash there money all over the place. do not get me wrong you must be careful of all the suckout because they will chase everything that even remote looks good to them, but if you are careful and play well you can make some nice cash.

wow some real poker players with "poker soul" are here I will play maybe 23rd december something, but not 24th I think in US and somewhere is 25th that "big" day when the presents are giving (Am I right?) but here in Slovakia its 24th december Christmas eve
i think what ever is the day or what ever festival it is the traffic will be stagnent !! There could be a minimal amount of drop of players on the eve of christmas ... But no much change in it !!!
I'm going to play on the day of christmas and hope i win something !!

i will play only if is some great offers there. is christmas day so is not worth it to play regular games, but games that are designed for christmas have something special in them

WOW...WHAT A CLOSE CALL. But the winner is that there will be poker at Christmas...and indeed in many households there was...but not in mine...... Though like a good mistress I thought about her all day long!! And tonight we will be reunited in love and have a dirty old time enjoying each other!!!!
