You played very bad 2nd hand.

pushed blinds on small blind, nothing wrong with the play, hes the one who made the wrong play, oh well its the only site im not successful on

No worse there then anywhere else as far as I'm concerned when it comes to the donks always hitting on the river. It happens at Carbon all the time and I can't believe the hands that some of these jokers even play with. I guess I'm just not stupid enough to play that way to reap the benefits that they seem to always get.
Just got donked and needed a thread to comment on! Thanks!

lol, well indeed i agree its not only on this site, pokerstars is by far the best site out of them all but i find while im playing on pokerstars its worse than any other site. One poker site is not more rigged than another one but it sure looks like sites vary for different people

This is basically manipulating statistics to suit your agenda. You need to take the statistics from when the chips went IN not from the point where you had the highest chance of winning.. Since both hands were allin preflop, consider the second hand for example - you were more likely to LOSE than WIN yet you paint it out like you were a massive favorite.

I really really really wouldn't worry about that.

Yep and it happens live too.

I've said it before, "if you can't handle getting sucked out on the river then play a game that doesn't have community cards."

I think all river cards are "lucky" from time to time on all poker platforms especially if you play tons of hands!

One more thing: "cardraiser72" from the first hand is a member here on the forums?

Best ...reply...ever!!! Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

All honesty though, hand 1 is pretty standard. Villains raise basically committed him given pot size, so it's a snap call. You just got unlucky, but yes you WERE a favorite to win when chips got in.

Second hand I GUESS is kind of standard, although 20BB is kind of deep to be shoving, even BvB, especially with a weak ace. You're gunna be dominated by pretty much anything he calls with, and you don't really get much for the times he just folds to make it worth the risk. Or maybe it's just in me talking.

Still, I don't think either hand was terribly played, just terribly standard. I think villains call with 33 in hand 2 is just retarded, but you see it all the time.

Ok, first hand was unlucky. He had only three real outs and some strange boards to beat you, but the second hand was just a flip. The chips went in preflop, and if he hits his set with the flop, the turn or the river does not mind here.

reffering to second hand :

i'd rather make a steal on small blind vs BB with : let's say 10-J ofsuit then with A-low kicker

so up to A-4/A-5 i will fold ,,,if opponent has also an ace and you make a steal attempt ,most of the times you will lose ..and any aggression will get you into huge desicion problems...

bye bye tournament, bye bye chips.

HU is a total diff story ..i might play those A-low kickers more..

Yeah that was a truly awful call. Tilts me so hard when fish call allins with small pocket pairs.

I did manipulate the statistics lol trust me im used to losing on those hands but im just showing the statistics going into the river because its mostly the river that gets me and not on the flop. But just playing tourneys i built my bankroll on PS from $.21 to $30.93 so lets see what i can do now lol.
(I just wanted to show river statistics, just feels a bit odd to me it always happens on the river, im always on edge on pokerstars even for one outers, like when you see people at the wsop main event all in and at risk lol theyre not satisfied usually until the river

Agreed cardraiser! almost a flip if its j10 versus a8. I dont care about losing a flip or 3-1 but im just saying how its always that nasty river. Woohooo not bad flop... blank turn... AND THE RIVER!!! awww... lol Riverstars

Look how much was in pot. And you were weak. You played bad he played worse and got lucky.
Push on turn if he calls a raise not on flop.

What hands are you even looking at? Both hands chips went in pre, don't know how there can be any more action after that. Also, his shove with AQs against an EP raise with those stack sizes/pot size is pretty damn standard, especially considering you can clearly see in the chat that the raiser was super agro. I'd fist-pump shove that any day all day.

Yup, me too. And the stupid thing is, they'll call even 22. Like, call me a nit, but I'd NEVER call a shove with 22, you're literally dominated by almost anything in the shovers range, even if they are almost shoving ATC. Still, fish are gunna be fish and they do get lucky. Just sucks getting picked off by morons calling with s**t like that left and right.
