I rase 450 he min raises i call. Turn is another spade he raises 600 i call river is a blank. He shoves i call.

Different on any street. I would bet more preflop, but if 2.5x is your normal raise, it is ok. I would c-bet a bit more, but it would be tough to call the raise. What do you mean with another spade at the turn? There are no spades on the board.

there's no getting away from that. i think you played it fine. just bad luck in the end. i think the only thing you could of done for him not to call preflop was go all in, but your never doing that so it doesn't matter. Unlucky mate. hope you do better next time

It's a little hard to follow but I get the point. He hit nut flush draw and a pair on the flop. A 2.5 raise would be a raise to 525, which if correct is fine I think. Unraised pot in late position I wouldn't raise more. I'd bet more on the flop, probably about 600 into a 1000 pot and if he raises I'm all in, which wouldn't have fared me any better than you, (It's a pretty cold hand) but I think it would be the right way to play it. Committing 1000+ chips, a third of your stack, on the chance of another club is probably a bad move. You have to fold to a blank on the turn so it's best to finish it on the flop. It's hard to put him on a strong ace based on the preflop action so I think you've got equity for shoving on a flush draw if the pot is built enough.

standard play unlucky hand. If you have second strongest possible hand you really dont expect that your opponent has the strongest one (and you cant play always like this - thinking about the worst). just forget about it, next time with same hand someone will pay it to you

There was no fold equity for a shove there cause he commited to the pot so its pointless in my eyes. i think there is more value in just calling there.
Thx for opinion guys helps me after a hands like these when i start questioning my play duo bad beat. These hands we all remember so i want to know for sure what i ll do next time around. Got staked for this so was rly motivated to do well in it. Sadly no luck at all :/
